I have a feeling you missed a couple important classes there junior or weren't paying much attention.. My degree is in marketing with a minor in philosophy from Niagara University... and I remember taking constitutuional law and I never heard the crap you're spouting... what I do remember is thinking I had all the answers too at 20 years old... Now you need to be old to have an opinion and defend it? Weren't you criticizing me for being a "fence-rider" as you so eloquently put it? we can't deny them their liberties... not without due process... so far, some have had their day in court and haven't faired so well. Hence the reason abortion is legal... the liberal court years ago before you were born decided that the life of an unborn child has no meaning and can be killed at the will of the mother if she sees fit.

What I meant Steve is that it has become a management system that has moved towards only benefiting the hunter.. which is really the same plan we have in place now.. the DEC does only what the hunting community allows them to do... not necessarily whats best for the deer or hunting.

Fortunately I don't believe in the liberal menality of needing a law for everything... I'll just continue to voice my opinion in hopes that a few misguided individuals are actually listening. You do a good job sometimes of trying to put words into people mouths... I never said anything about needing to change the fact that young people are impressionable.. i just said that they are.

some of us aren't quick to believe anything and have already done our homework and don't buy into the anti NRA sentiment by gun owners that are too cheap to put their money where their mouth is... my $700 life membership didn't bankrupt me and I don't feel duped by the NRA. If nothing else I have paid to be in the know about every single anti-gun legislation that comes down the pike. A small price to pay for staying informed about what's really going on... and I'll continue to pay until you or anyone else can convince me that the NRA doesn't serve its purpose as the largest gun rights advocate in the world

Open minded also leaves room for a good dose of brain washing too... thats why open minded youngster are so much more impressionable than us experienced close minded individuals

I haven't taken away anyones rights.. all I've done is offer up my opinion on the original concept of quality deer management... and my opinion of the present concept... It doesn't matter to me whether people buy into it or not... but that doesn't mean that I still don't think its a sound management plan... I have simply written about it and spoke on it to get the word out about it for hunters to take in and digest.. I have never petitioned for it nor have I said someone is less of a hunter for not accepting it... I am not even a member of the QDMA.. my gripe.. if I have one at all is that some have formed an opinion of it .. without having any idea of what it is.. only what they think it is. If you say you don't like liver but have never tasted liver.. then your opinion of liver doesn't mean much. by the way.. i have tasted liver and hate it

I give up. There is no way to have a discussion with someone who can say that 6 million people are smarter than 115 million people.
