  1. I don't see any where in the regulations where they use the word special
  2. As for you Spiker.. you and Pat Rocket could probably have a good discussion with one another.. I have trouble unstanding his posts as well..
  3. and how is the bow season any more special than the regular gun season.. because NYB's think so?
  4. Correct. It is not. It is shouldered, aimed, and shot like a gun. General season it is. The funny part is I think you guys are serious...
  5. You should be ashamed of yourself......really. And yet I'm not.. so that's your agument? that I should be ashamed of myself??..lol.. you're killin' me here... and I'm suppose to take you seriously?
  6. I can't take a guy seriously that has to resort to childish things like calling a crossbow a crossgun.. ok we get that you somehow have this dillusion that just because it has a trigger and a stock that somehow it is a gun... so now fast forward to adulthood and have an adult conversation using correct terminology
  7. MZ is a special season as is the special bow season at the end of southern zone... rifles are allowed during the regular gun.. as crossbow should be to regular bow season.. thats not spin
  8. I might be telling you alright.. but I'm damn sure you aren't getting it..
  9. they do share a common season.. just not the special season... crossbows need not be added the the special bow season at the end of the year, just the regular bow season
  10. Rocket you really need to stop assuming.. just makes you seem that much more ignorant...I'm not claiming to be the best anything.. just offering up my opinion and answering questions directed to me..I think thats why they call it forum...
  11. That would kind of be the idea yes...and after a couple years they would be seeing enough legal bucks where it wouldn't be a problem... like I said before though it couldn't just be a blanket AR across the state. Most QDM programs have tips on how to reduce the chances of killing buttons... which involve some learning on the part of hunters...
  12. Your arguments against crossbow during bow season are without any basis... there is absolutley no way that a crossbow would have any impact on any other bowhunters experience in the field during the bow season..it doesn't have the range of a gun or the shocking power of a gun so that argument is flawed... that fact that it can be cocked in advance gives no advantage that would disrupt another bowhunters experince while hunting so that argument is mute as well... so I'm going to assume unless you tell me different that you simply just hate crossbows... just not sure why.. maybe because some organization told you too???
  13. I was called one straight up....you did not object then? No doubt a compound helps you hold the draw weight.....but you have to DRAW the weight. And hold some weight. Crossbow....locked and loaded. No stress. How is this not an advantage? It is disingenuous. And that would greatly impact bowhunting how???
  14. So why just Arizona so conveniently? What about the illegal handgun problem in NY... and not just the city but Upstate New York? .. and who gave him permission to STEAL my tax money for his Arizona sting?? too me... what he did with taxpayer money is just as criminal as the focus of his sting
  15. Great Buck Brandon.. I'm sure I'll meet you at the Big BUck Club dinner this fall then..
  16. oh.. so now I'm a liar?? O if the cross bow has that advantage (as you say) over the compound.. how is 85% let-off not an advantage over the 0% of my recurve?
  17. yeah I agree.. my stomach hurts when I think about how badly are government official screw the public on a daily basis
  18. I don't see an advantage that affects bowhunting at all
  19. Actually, they learned what they did wrong with prohibition. they went for a total ban. This time they will allow possession and consumption, but only under set conditions. And those conditions will be you have to drink it at home and stay home when you do! : The great part is politicians will dicuss the new laws over drinks at a local watering hole
  20. I could never stand the smell of a cigar and wondered how folks could smoke them . To me , it smelled like the Land Fill was on fire . Then it wasn't a good cigar they were smoking..lol
  21. OK Arrow...you have lost all credibility now... how can you feel that an answer to a simple question about why you are so threatened by the crossbow is irrelevant... you're the one that said that crossbows hunters would have some kind of advantage.. what advantage is that? and if there actually is one.. how could it possibly affect any other hunters bowhunting experience? I was going to refrain from saying this.. but your answers are starting to become very childish and uneducated
  22. so what advantage are you speaking of that will interrupt your bowhunting experience ??? ??? and your viewpoint is absolutely not clear at all.. the olny view point i see is that you dislike crossbows, yet offer no good reason why
  23. You have no business speaking for me....I am perfectly capable of doing so myself. Then answer the question that you still haven't answered... any crediblity that you might have had when this thread started is slowly diminishing
  24. I'm guessing the team with the most points at the end
  25. wow beautiful.. I'm sure that I don't have the patience any more for something like flintknapping..but I do appreciate some one that does.. nice work
