    I had the safety off twice this morning, once on a Jake that walked right by me and then the Tom but he was at around 50. After last weeks miss I was a bit gun shy and he was already way to my left, I didn’t think I was really locked on him. A third Gobbler joined them with at least two hens.     Those are the best hunts when it happens out of the clear blue sky! However, this is absolute nonsense. Every good turkey hunter knows that if you made the call within five minutes on either side of the gobble it was in response to your call.
