  1. Not sure how to get the actual picture there's a link
  2. http://rs77.pbsrc.com/albums/j66/Smithnm17/Mobile%20Uploads/asdfgh%20012_zpsecncjsj4.jpg~320x480
  3. Not to mention the hunters that feel as if the crossbow is a firearm and they can take Ill advised shots. Yes I've shot them, no I don't believe the season should be extended or exist.
  4. Unregulated. It's a personal opinion of mine that crossbows should strictly be kept to the disabled who are not able to draw a compound. I realize this would be difficult. Now everyone tale a second to relax. I'm anti crossbow big deal.
  5. Crossbows are the death of archery hunting in nys.
  6. For one I do enjoy bowhunting more, but my main reason is that I falied to shoot my muzzleloader before the season and I wouldn't feel comfortable taking a shot at a deer without knowing for sure how my gun was shooting.
  7. Thanks phade. I do realize this is basically a lower line of bowtech, I just believe these are more affordable bows that are worth a look for some people.
  8. I have not read this entire thread but I would not. No reason for mandatory rules on orange. Hunter has the right to decide what they believe is necessary weather safe or not.
  9. I don't know if this has been covered at all but I am wondering if anyone here shoots a diamond bow, I bought my carbon cure over the summer and love it. Also just wanted to say I'd recommend the carbon cure, so far so good.
  10. Shoulda brought the muzzleloader, I took a walk after lunch with the bow. I walked behind one of the ponds toward an area that is relatively open. I notice three deer about 200 yards out. Two bucks and an antlerless. Sure enough one of them is the 10 point. I decided to work towards them with my bow in hand but at about 80 yards I was spotted and they casually trotted off into the brush. Oh well, I chose the bow for a reason. Had a good season no regrets, although that was hard to take lol
  11. I hunt an hour and twenty minutes from home and I bow hunted 6 days and gun hunted 5 times.
  12. In my blood, my family passed down this great thing called hunting, love everything about it from scouting for gutting and processing.
  13. Paptist, north Boston area, where are you?
  14. Best of luck turkey feathers I am done for the year, back at the house cooking a tenderloin from my bow buck. I'm in North Boston by the way, been watching that deer for 2 years now.
  15. At my uncles in 9H hoping for a look at a big 5x5 that he has spotted a couple times this season, last sighting being yesterday morning, have my bow instead of muzzleloader this year. And it's pouring here.

I have found tracks and scat at our camp in 9t, have not had the pleasure of seeing one yet, but would like to.
  17. I hunt 9T we took 5 bucks and 3 does so far between 7 guys. Not our best year but not the worst either.
  18. I took a buck with the bow and a nice doe with gun so far
  19. Found a dead 6 pointer while walking the front of our property, nothing alive since 630
  20. Out in 9t. Bumped 2 coming in. Cold with wind picking up. Good luck everyone.
  21. First hunt of the year in 9f today, very windy. My dad passed a 6 half hour ago.
  22. Yes I never said it was at th spike. I had seen the spike going the opposite direction. Clearly not a deer gun, and clearly not multiple shooters, I was just stating that the neighbor was firing alot of rounds off. No big deal.
