    We bought our place in hunting season and started hunting it right away, set up a couple stands and went right in. We got a few deer the same year. As for posted signs I'd go with metal since I put up plastic ones and the locals in Cattaraugus county quickly took them down and also took all my driveway markers lol

    I have 2 atvs and the one I use for hunting is a sportsman 500 it does great. Starts on coldest of days, does our hills no problem, has ebs, we usually put the deer on the racks to bring them down. Dragging them has resulted in then slipping down to fast like you said.
