I have some basic details about the ghost but it's tight lipped. battery life will be a bit better..somewhere in the 25-30% range. You should bank on faster transmission times, too.

Cameras to look at include the new Browning dual lens cams, and their 4k model (I think that is a hype point for cam companies now). Also worth looking into are the cameras trending toward no interfaces and using apps to control the cameras. Hawk, Moultrie, and others have versions of it. Cuddeback seems to still be refining their cuddelink and there are a few new cell cams on the market. Spartan has the Gocam Ghost coming out later this year.

Those are all cameras from 2016 and that page is clickbait.

Wish we had more tickets, ours are going for four-five times the face value right now. Cashed in some travel points I will never otherwise use and have a swanky room at the nearest high roller hotel less than a mile walk to the stadium. Boy are the Hotel staffers going to be disappointed...I think a pile of Bills fans got in there before they jacked their rates up to what is most likely above typical Bills fan ranges. It's going to be a glorious sh!tshow. I get the sense there are going to be ALOT of Bills fans there.

I'll stick with the hoodie, lol. Plus I need to pack light.

It's going to be around 55-60 degrees Sunday in Jacksonville. I'm thinking a hoodie will be fine, right? I can't get that cold at the game compared to the temps we're having here in NY now.

Not sure how many I have out now. Lose count sometimes. I'll pull most of the better cams in mid-January and leave behind some lower tier cams in their place and let them sit either til turkey season scouting time or when we do some summer prep work. I've also been turning over some of my regular cams to prep for new models in 2018.

There you go thinking about the humans again. Let’s equate that to deer - sex any time or sex during a specific condensed timeframe to ensure healthy fawning and drop periods overwhelming predatory impact by flooding the market in a short period of time. Compared to the sex anytime of a long drawn out rut cycle spreading fawns to early and late times allowing predators to have a longer period of time to prey on fawns during the critical first few weeks where they don’t have the ability to flee or avoid being eaten. Shorter seasons IMO create a sense of urgency in hunters. Participation rates in shorter seasons are higher per day average, hence the minimal drop off of harvest numbers compared to lengthy seasons. Cut the season by two thirds or so and you still get 90% of the harvest totals. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The biggest problem with them is QC. It's a coin toss as to whether you got a good one, and more so than the typical lemon rate for cams. If you get a good one, they tend to perform well for a cheap cam. Common problems beyond QC include bad battery springs and battery fit, SD cards tend to be finicky in them, and they do tend to be a little too sensitive with a trigger during warm months. Whiteout does happen on close up night images. That said, if you get one that works well, it'll likely do so for a few years.

We average less than 9 days afield between gun and MZ. We do OK. Can’t remember the last time I personally clocked more than 9 days in gun season. Seems like people assume too much sometimes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
