  1. Hey I know I’m a big time offender hear, I said a deer is ducking when it’s just lowering it’s body instead
  2. Again implying what, your passive aggressive shit is so annoykng Bingo, I accidentally said duck when I obviously (as most do) just meant the deer hears and moves. Then I get assaulted by “I’m not shitting on you but you are retarded” - WNY
  3. It’s not a fact...Biz was being Biz, I teased him a little about long out west shots and then accidentally said the word duck (which is literally the action you described where it’s body goes lower). Then I had to be corrected by the deer fact and language cop in a very certain way no man of science claims to know the whole truth of any matter
  4. No kidding, they don’t see the arrow? ofcourse it’s that they hear something unknown and move causing poi to move making the long shot a low percentage ...semantics thats why I mentioned a fact, speed of sound is 1000fps faster than the arrow Same with moon phase it’s about hunters observing deer not gps tracking their every move These concepts aren’t as simple as some folks are used to dealing with and aren’t easily solved with one or two studies And I don’t take lessons from farm hunters
  5. Believe what you would like but nothing has been proven on either subject and again imsisting so with such aggressive certainty reveals your ignorance.
  6. What a statement of certainty, that’s always the first sign someone is clueless I’m not certain of anythinh other than if you shoot too far away at an alert deer, it notices something happened and hits the deck... Effectively dodging your arrow
  7. No kidding they don’t know what an arrow is...You have an alright site but you are a blowhard who sounds like a dope at this moment
  8. Someone post the video please...the one with the doe slomo ducking and rolling under a 40 yard shot on target POI moved 5-6”s
  9. I love ya biz but are we already comparing stupid western dullards to the cagey east coast suburban whitetail again
  10. Saw 2 last night one of the biggest bodies I’ve ever seen in the woods Zilch this am...saw lots of apples down tho (during my #groundhunt) on the way... Speed of sound is 1125 FPS. Anything over 30 and the odds of getting ducked go way up...under 20 on an alert deer and they can duck enough to screw up your shot. 52 is crazy on a whitetail
  11. I’m in the same boat, end of the month we get a new fridge so the old one becomes a dedicated deer/beer cooler and then temps be damned.
  12. Let one fly in the light rain in prep for the open(ing week)
  13. Thanks...I’m dialed in for my range ready to rock The green dot is further forward than it looks in the earlier post the arrow exited out long ribs with alot to spare on this tiny target...but yeah that’s as quarter-to as I would (and have) taken one. And my arrows are 520 grains 200 upfront and pass through 2 shoulders and anything else you put in front of them in eastern North America confirmed multiple times.
  14. I like practicing these slight quartering-to shots I’m not supposed to take
  15. I found a young Mennonite breeder who was not a puppy mill in Penn Yann (I went there did not ship the dog or meet anywhere) dogs were raised in a really nice heated barn very clean mom is the family pet...reasonable price relatively, shots and wormed and “pedigree” 3 gens back (she is 3/4 poodle 1/4 golden). ”Reputable” breeders vary in degrees of jerk (a few are not) and prices range from 1500-5000 from said breeders, not many in the NE. You can find them as comfort retrievers, Dakota retrievers, toy golden retreivers, mini golden retreivers, flat coated mini golden doodles...etc As I said before mine is a mini golden doodle that results as often as 25% in the F2 crosses. So we got lucky to find her despite her being non desirable for most golden doodle seekers.
  16. In this case she is technically an F2 Mini Goldendoodle which can result in several different types. So she expresses mostly golden traits especially temperament but has a lot of toy poodle in her. Most people who want a doodle want the poodle fur for hypoallergenic reasons and most F1 are, we did not and the F2 makes it possible. There are also Mini Golden Retreivers that are produced by breeding with spaniels mostly Cav or Cockers. They look like tiny Golden’s more often than not. We needed a small dog to fit in the rv with the big dog, but we did not want typical small dog temperament...she acts 100% golden maybe the best puppy I’ve ever had after 1 full day and night.
  17. New Mini-golden pup will top out at 25lbs...we are in love:
  18. Confirmed...had a cookie with it
