  1. It's s guess so don't worry about it either way...I talk all kinds of crap, nobody listens
  2. Pretty sure the lower jaw is connected to that giant head Don't get me wrong I think aging on the hoof gives everyone a good baseline for guessing and discussing body size/age only two ways to get the age, kill em or card em
  3. Late bow season last 8 days of season...DMFA in January, NJ is open til march
  4. Trying to get my buddy a buck this pm was setting a scent trail a few minutes ago from his climber to bedding when I saw some chasing 80 yards in between us... Hope today is his day I'd also like a doe please
  5. Come on biz don't let me down... Get on your feet and put on the stalk socks!
  6. A. Baiting B. No wonder the deer are always on their feet around you they'd be better off with fletch's "flake"
  7. I broke a 7 year archery harvest streak in 2016...threw my bow out of the tree 3 times. Felt like my dog died (he did the previous spring). Got a new bow and arrows, back on track
  8. Good plan took me 3 seasons...then the floodgates opened. Great day to make it happen!
  9. Yeah if liver lung that's a pretty long way to just run off...must have been bounced repeatedly. Good luck out there...hope you find him in one piece
  10. Yote country? What time did you hit him? 8 hrs later he should be dead go back then if you can. Liver is king for dog search
  11. This sounds counterintuitive however you know your woods and I've seen enough evidence of that. I got a nice 2.5 heavy six into 15 yards on the ground yesterday during a wailing snowstorm (2" in under 3 hour)...he was on the move seemingly looking for love.
  12. What? Considering it is rut and winter is setting in early deer will be on their feet doing these bothersome things called breeding and eating. I have shot almost every mid-day deer I've ever harvested with fresh snow on the ground, I think all of them in fact.
  13. I shot one button ever thought it was a mature doe...nearly 100 dressed...another reason to fill doe tags early some are 2 months older than the youngest fawns and really can pack it on now.
  14. Wow good action out there today congrats harvesters... Time to use this wind to our advantage:
  15. Stick a hot hands toe warmer on the back of your phone and the other one inside the pocket you keep it in...I do this for skilift as well
