    Guys cant we all just get along... Last year in the early season I had to be reminded that turkey wasn't in yet...from some nice fella on this site kept me in code I was grateful... We all make mistakes that's why they put erasers on pencils and edit on forum posts! Lots of action today guys!

    Sorry to hear about your pop. It's not all about killing for me either but definitely do some killing in hunting so outrage over (quite) a small deer is just more silliness for us to argue about. Good action this AM!

    Tried to set my buddy up I got all the action... Big buck ridge cruising at legal, 2 more doe sightings by 8:30... Harnessed my inner biz got on my feet and did the boundary to scout and in hopes of pushing something to my boy, instead... Lightly bumped a nice yearling...20 yard stand off for about 10 mins before I noticed the 3 other bedded doe. Lead doe gets up starts making her way to see what the yearling is light stomping/staring at. lil doe finally turns her head a half second I draw but she is head on...the lead senses something and does one broadside bound into a 30yd lane... She was super alert but I felt it was my best chance I released and just like the video she dropped and rolled away...just ducked it... Saw about 15 turkeys and lots of buck sign as well. my buddy seen zero...bummer but fun AM for me despite the miss. Sons got a friends bday party so I'm pulling dad duty for that should be fun.

    Using the facilities now before I head out, crazy I know! Gonna put my buddy over the freshest buck sign I've seen over at our lease this am...hope he drops a good one. I'll be on doe patrol...lucky for you guys the reception stinks there so I won't clutter the thread Good luck today's the day!

    I get the local song/lab season pass comes w/2 free days okemo then 50% okemo rest of the season they make and keep great snow in terrible (2016) conditions. Only 4 hrs for me. any deer out there yet boys?

    I think I've mentioned this before but I have a new 25' class c motorhome...and an 18' travel trailer both are heated, a/c, kitchens, bathrooms, food, 40" tvs, shooting windows...you guys sure you don't need a beer bitch? I'd leave the travel trailer all season!
