Doe and fawns moved by with a spike trailing, then a 4pt. Neighbors son got a doe.

In and hoping the rain holds off. Brothers on one side, bil on the other and im in the middle of my property. Bil has his son with him for the first time out, and i got my hunting partner with me. Goodluck all!

Theres someone less than a mile from me "target" shooting. Im totally fine with that but damn, they have easily gone thru 500 rounds of whatever it is they are shooting. Dont they know their is a shortage lol.

Livers out of both, but goes to my parents. Im not a fan of it.

Back in for the evening. The deer i got this a.m. 1 turned out to be a button buck. Not to thrilled about that. 4 came in i picked the biggest and shot, she ran maybe 30 yards and piled into a tree and dropped. The other 3 scattered for a second, i started looking at each of them. This guy came in and i even said to my son, looks like a nice doe...shot it, it does a backflip and is dead. The other walked passed after this and 1 was a mature doe and 1 was definitely a fawn. Pissed at myself but nothing to do now but eat it i guess lol. Tight squeeze for the 2 it the bucket, the doe was pretty big.

Just dropped 2 doe. Freezer is full again!

Brother had a buck chasing a doe fly by him, couldnt get on the buck. All quiet in the back of my woods here.

Hmmmm...my grunt call just fell to the ground. That means i will see a buck out of range and not be able to coax him in...mark it down, gonna happen. Lol

Rushed home to throw camies on and climb a tree. Really looking for that last second miracle now. Ive never bow hunted as much as i have this year. Got my father and brother coming tomorrow for the opener, weather looks good for that. Goodluck everyone, enjoy the last 2hrs of peaceful woods.

Hoping for a last minute bow miracle here. This is uncharted waters for me, ive usually got a buck in the freezer by now, hoping one screws up today. I can hunt till 930ish, so id like one around 8 so i have plenty of time to clean up for work...got that deer gods!

Nothing moving here checking cams on the way out and have 2 good bucks cruzing around. 1 day time pic too. Be back out this evening.

Dropped the kids off at school and im in a tree! Watched a real nice buck cruzing around my field last night. Hope to see him or really any deer.

Its not 100% what you mentioned but i love my apex covert pro. Its a battery operated single dot sight. 11 differant brightness settings. Slide scale for yardage with lock. If the battery were to die it has crosshairs etched into the lens. I change the battery every other year and never had it fail.

I know the its his property so, so be it. But my F@CKING ahole neighbor is driving a bobcat around in his 110 yard wide woods...the last saturday of bow, i swear this deer season is killing me. Anyhoo... wish u all the best as i try to lower my blood pressure...

The squirel movement today has been intense...Definitely in the thick of the rut...however i have seen 0 deer.
