If you get your muzzle velocity, and shoot out to say 300 yards you should be able to use a ballistics calculator to get you real close out to 700 yards. Ive started to use the Strelok app. I just need to find a chronograph. The place in batavia rents them at thier range.

It should do great. Ill probably make a trip out there before the class to get good dope out to 700 yards. Really want to shoot my rifle now but it would be nice to do that when the temps are above 30*.

Little follow up on the class in batavia i mentioned. Its only $40, he said he will have more info coming out in the next week. They are only taking 20 people so if you are interested i would definitely email them.

Rifle got new glass that will allow me to get the little 6.5 to 1000 yards. Nikon black fx1000 4-16×50 mrad reticle. Hopefully taking a long range/prs style class this spring in batavia. Also special thanks to lawdawz for the gun vise. Works great.

Ive been using a leupold vx-r, the center of the cross hairs lights up not the whole reticle. Its also nice because it has a auto on feature, as soon as the scope moves the light turns on. Very clear glass. Plus its for sale! Just upgrading to a scope that will better suit long range shooting.

I know someone selling a nice leupold that u can get a custom elevation knob for what round u would be hunting with...great glass...great scope

I guess i have to take a walk through the woods now that u mentined that.

Power came back on here in pembroke at 1245am, so it was off for about 4.5 hrs. Good thing about the power outtage, i learned my sump pump is dead. About a 20' trim piece on the pole barn is hanging off.

Lost power about a hour and a half ago, part of the pole barn is flappin in the wind...would like it to end now

Selling my call to upgrade...this is a very expensive hobby. Foxpro wildfire, with box, paperwork, and usb cable to download new sounds. Won this call last year at the wny predator slam. Ive called in fox and coyote with it. Works good, only takes 4AA batteries in the call and one 9 volt in the remote. Local pickup $115, $130 shipped. Located in wny.

Gauging intrest in this scope. Great condition, bought last year. Its a first focal plane, with zero stop, cds elevation turret, illuminated firedot reticle, 30mm tube. You can order custom elevation turrets for whatever round you are shooting. I believe they are $65 from leupold. It currently has a 6.5 grendel one on it but will come with the factory one that is not setup for a bullet. If you want the grendel turret you can have it. Has the box and all paper work. Ill get better pics when i get home. Looking for $525 local pickup or $535 shipped. Obo.

It was a good night, nothin died but it was good. First set nothing. 2nd second set had one goin crazy about 15 mins into the set. At about 30 mins i had male coyote howls going and it came running out of the woods at yhe caller. My buddy swung on it, barked at it to try and get it to stop. It kept runnin, he shot and missed, and that yote took off like a rocket. I tried to swing on him and shoot. Thought i had the cross hairs on his nose when the gun went off but it was a clean miss also. 3 rd set, kitten distress, first 5 minutes had one come in close. Buddy put his light on it, was ready to shoot as soon as it got out of the brush. I never knew it was there. So im scanning and he thinks it saw me turning my head. It took off. Only about 50 yards away. Good night.
