I just finished up making my latest turkey gun and took it out to pattern it. Its' a flintlock, 24ga., 48" barrel with a cherry stock. First shot was with a patched round ball, just to verify that my figuring and gut instinct of sight placement were close enough, they are. 80 grains of ff, 1-1/2 oz's. of a #4, #6 mix, i use this mix cuz A guy gave me a two liter bottle of it and I'm not even half way through it.
