  1. I am in the market for a new ATV. can anyone recommend a place in or around Chenango County. Thanks.
  2. They are still available at that price. A friend of mine purchased three dozen an hour ago.
  3. Regularly 29..99 on sale which ends soon for 4.99. Use key code 0531094 at checkout. At this price I bought a dozen. www.gurneys.com
  4. Can anyone recommend a deer butcher in the Norwich/East Pharsilia area. Thanks
  5. I was wondering what success hunters have had during the muzzleload season compared to bow and rifle. What tactics do you use and how do the deer act that late in the Season. Thanks.
  6. Whether or not 99 percent of us knew how to spell it or not does not diminish the fact that this administration made a conscious effort to downplay what happened there for their own political agenda. Americans were killed because the White House failed to act. End of story.
  7. Welcome aboard and thank you for your service to our country.
  8. Who knew grown men could be so sensitive. I just wish certain people instead of jumping all over someone would find out the entire story first and not be so judgmental.
  9. My comment was also deleted. So hear it is reposted: I'm just glad there isn't a feeder shown anywhere in those pictures.
  10. I spoke to a friend of mine early today. He has been practicing for the upcoming bow season for the past few weeks with field tips and has been shooting very well at 25 and 35 yards. Today he switched over to broadheads and immediately had a problem shooting. All his shots were hitting low and to the right, where previously were shot as a tight group with the field tips. Has anyone else experienced a similar problem? We are in the process of checking to make sure that the broadheads and the field tips are the same weight
  11. For the upcoming opening of bow October 1, what type of scents should be used. Is it too early to use doe estrus since the rut would not have started yet. Or should I stick more to rattling and grunting?
  12. Remember, the first step is admiting you have a problem.
  13. I think I need help. All I do is think about food plots, mock scrapes, cover scents, land management, deer management, and count the days until opening day. If anyone out there exhibits the same behavior you to may be a hunterolic.

    Rain

    Any reports from 7M?
  15. Soil test - ph 6. All the other levels were low.
  16. I tilled the plot and added peletized lime this weekend. I plan on planting oats and winter rye this coming week. Should I also add fertilizer? I was told by someone to add 13-13-13 after I seed. Thanks.
  17. Cabin Fever, I used 2x3 to frame out the walls and secured them together with galvanized screws. I then secured them to deck using galvanized lag bolts. I positioned the bottom of the windows at 40 inches (this is the height in the majority of the pre-built blinds). For the height of the window, I built a temporary and practiced shooting my bow through it to get the proper height for me. I built frames the same size as the openings and attached Plexiglass to it and attached it to the blind using hinges at the bottom. I the enclosed the whole thing using OSB (on the next one I plan on using plywood). I painted it with a high quality outdoor paint. I do have in process pictures that I will send to you.
  18. I used OSB for the walls and roof. I painted it with a high quality primer and paint. The camo is just a dark green and dark brown that was sprayed over leaves from surrounding trees and bushes. I am going to build a ladder from pressure treated lumber next week. The elevator brackets for the legs were a home run. I will also be anchoring it to the ground using cables. Thanks for the input everyone.
  19. I started adding the camo this weekend. Any thoughts?
  20. I tried to read this post but after the third page I already had a headache. We all know the rules when it comes to baiting and some people need to come off their high horses. I used to visit this site a few time a day but now I find myself very rarely coming here at all. It's because a few posters who believe that they know everything need to comment on every single post that someone writes, no matter what the subject is. Vietvet50, thank you for your service to our country and you should be very proud of it!
