I've done a bit of research so ***SPOILER ALERT*** So there's a new group that will be coming on the show called "the whisperers" they wear tanned walker faces over their own to blend in with the walkers and speak in muted tones. Theres going to be AMC walking dead movies with rick grimes in them coming soon so rick will probably live and move over to that new project like Morgan did. The whole A and B thing is still a mystery though and its popped up numerous time through out the seasons. Walkers don't die in water but they can't swim so they just tumble down river till the hit a spot that they can crawl or walk out of. Its a bummer that they show ended rick grimes on TWD story line but at least we won't have to hear "We have to find Carl" one more time. The girl they got to play judith was really good and could have been lori's daughter they look so similar. Have a good one!

Another show that's going to be interesting is "The Terror" , probably a short lived series but will fill the time between walking dead's.

First off im pissed that it wasnt a 2 hr primere. We all knew some one was going to get whacked but they got greedy and took two. Glen skated by death too many times, he had it coming. Abraham was a character that i didnt want to see go, he took it like a champ as described. At least the 8 month wait is over.

I've gone out the past two weekends and got both times. Only had a couple of hours to spare. Great time of year for hunting tree ninjas.

Was out doing some early season stalking and squirrel hunting. Early season is a blast as the critters are all gathering. Even tapped one with a acorn still in its mouth, and he never dropped it. I was all happy camper with my first bushy tail of the day back sitting on the log still as can be waiting for more when I noticed a black lump under its neck. I though possible injury, or tick, no this was another creature I hadn't encountered yet. The dirty "BotFly". Once the bot fly realized that its host was toast it started to back out. To my horror this large black maggot backed out of the squirrels neck and I promptly destroyed. (even more disturbing is that they are edible, and taste milky, no thanks). Looked it up online and these bot fly larva are in their late stage cycle at this time of year. Ticks are bad enough but bot flys are now up there on my list of horrible insects. These types of infestations are apparently common for tree squirrels. Who'd a thunk it.

Yeah if its not dumping rain I'm going to the Hereford or Layfayette ville. I'll keep my eyes peeled for rubs. Went to the Wassaic MUA last weekend and there were some rubs there. -

It was good. Cold, very hilly terrain. Some guys were running a spaniel around and nailing birds. I saw two does. For my self the north side wasn't a good spot for me. Good parking but didn't see any small game. next time I'll try the south side with the pond. Looks like good open forest. Perhaps tomorrow morning.....hmmmm -
Welcome buddy, what area are you hunting. Or what county?

If I had a pack of dogs I'd probably do it too. hunting is hunting , I get what your saying. -
That's the hard part, when you go out to hunt them they ghost you, when you get back home there every where. Dan critters

Although it's technically hunting it just doesn't seem very sportsman like to me to have the hounds do all the hunting and you just pull the trigger. Unless it's out in a field working small game that requires a keen nose or to be flushed out. Same reason we don't shoot at nest in the trees, not very sportsman like. -

I've got a few yote calls too. I've been doing internet home work trying to figure out the best place to go get them in southern NY. I'm in duchess if some one has a farm and is willing I want to go get them. -
I've got dry corn, walnut and almond shells and peanut butter. Gonna whip up some squirrel trail mix. put some corn out and skippy took the bait so I'm feeling confident it should work.

If the meat was still cold to the touch and doesn't smell bad its all good. Probably just have to be more mindful of it now. Like freezer to pan , or defrost in the fridge rather than on the counter.
