  1. Nyantler do you do exactly the speed limit or just over,do you get your car's/truck's speedo recalibrated every time you rotate your tires?or put air in your tires?because that effects your speedo reading.typical internet tough guys or key board jockeys i miss worded something and all of a sudden im a poacher, law breakingno good blood hunter because i asked for a tag.im sorry i dont have time to read thru a booklet every year as new rules seam to pop up every year. Screamon deamon if your from the buffalo and have that same s/n on other sites ive kown your for years.you won a winston fly rod from buffalo outfitters if its the same person.
  2. Wow........ Sorry i even bothered to post this. So its my fault that i didnt get my lis.in time because i was too busy working, didnt think i was gonna have time to hunt this year as my job can have me away at 1-2 weeks at a time(over the road truck driver.)the only reason i wanted to get the doe tag was to fill atleast 1 tag this year and put alittle meat in the freezer,as it just so happened i talked to a guy at work and he signed me over a doe tag for 9t and i filled it opening morning at 8am.
  3. normally work friday nights but i took off so i can relax and get a decent night sleep,i gotta few last things to buy, then im all set.
  4. I take about the same no matter if its a planed full day or not. Im the guy that can gut a deer wash my hans somehow eat a sammich(salami, cheese, mustard)on rye bread have a hi/c fruit punch drink box a quick smoke, toss a peice of double bubble in and drag the deer out.nothing sucks more then being hungry while in the woods.im not as lucky as most to only hunt a few hundred yards from there house/camp its a 1.5 hr ride for us to where we hunt.
  5. the bug just hit me this am when i left work. :P my plan is to make the 2+mile hike from the truck and sit all day in hopes i catch something moving thru.there will be atleast 4 of us on a 3thousand acre plot of state land, and im sure more but not to sure there willing to make the hike to the area im hunting.i'll spray some scent around when i first plop down next to a tree and leave the bottle about 15-20 yards infront of me.im using a diffrent gun this year so who knows my uncle has killed 99%of the deer he's gotten with it so lets see if it works for me.good luck every one.hopefully my father and i come home on the 219 with the tailgate down on my f-150 with atleast 1 deer with horns.Ps i have NMA decals on my truck if ya see it give a toot of the horn.
  6. didnt relise it was not legal to sell a doe tag sorry fellas.just trying to fill the freezer so i can get back on the steelhead tribs
  7. sorry didnt click to enlarge,i'll open y outh and insert my foot now
  8. Im in need of a 9T tag,i didnt get any doe tags this year and am willing to pay 20 bucks for one.has to be 9T.i know short notice.
  9. browning a5 belgium made semi auto 12 with a fully rifled barrel.ive shot it out to 150 yards and it grouped accu tips at about 5.5 inches.it has a redfeild wideveiw scope on it also.
  10. Sure it wasnt broken off in a fight?looks unchewed from the mice and other critters.
  11. The even funnier part is that i do drive a 2009 mack single cab camel back truck. :
  12. My name is mac im a truck driver by trade local teamsters 264. i try to get out hunting as much as possible but ive caught the steelhead bug the last 4-5 years so my fall hunting was put on the back burner,i always get out for gun season for deer tho.i mainly hunt in 9T on the state land on raecher rd.as my family has hunted there since the early 80's.Im 22 years old,ive gotten 1 buck and 2 does since turning 16.my buck was a 3 pointer spike on the left and forked main beam on right.the 2 does were in the 145 pound range.hope i can get another buck this year as the area i found up in the state land is just tore up with buck signs.
  13. lol its funny i'll drive to s.r to fish for 1 day but havent hunted up there ;D
  14. season hasnt even started yet.
  15. I don't know, last shot thru to a certaint extent claims the deer. Ive wounded a deer and tracked it for well over 4 hrs.mostly on my hands and knees only to find a gut pile and drag marks, ended up meeting up with the guys and it was a huge doe, which i knew it was a doe but didnt think it was as big.i told the guys my story and they laughed there rear ends off at me,mind you i was 17 first deer i ever pulled the trigger on.this was on public land also. So from now on if i see a wounded deer and its with in range and i have a tag im shooting it and claiming it as mine since i put the final shot on it.
  16. i wear full camo and a orange vest/hat when i sit i just wear the hat.im a ground hunter never really got into the whole tree stand thing.
  17. Hell i still gotta buy camo pants and new boots :-[ im really not prepared this year, hell this past sunday i went turkey hunting(scouting)with a camo jacket and my blue carhartt jeans i wear at work lol.my gun should still drive tacks as it hasnt been touched since cleaning it the day after the season ended. :-\ i dont know what it is i just dont have the energy to hunt anymore i used to be the kid that would think hunting 24-7-365.maybe the area i hunt is getting to me,or the lack of doe tags?5 years applying for the area ive gotten a grand total of 1 tag for there.
  18. i thought about just driving around the gate thru the woods but theres no path wide enought for my f-150 and they have the polls that support the gate filled with concrete.it sucks because there's not alot of state land around anymore and seeing as we own only 5 acres in perrysburg its too small to put 4 guys on.
  19. The peice of state land that i hunt is in catt.county nearest town is great valley, well i went for a ride sunday morning and they had the road gated off well over a mile from where we normally park which is odd because it was not like that year and its a logging road that was just regrated last year de to logging of the one section of pine tree's.Im kinda complaining because are tax dallors and lis.fees go twards the state lands and such and now it makes for a even longer walk to the area i like to hunt which was about 3/4-1 mile away from wear we wold normally park.im hoping its a blessing in camo because i dont think most gys are gonna be willing to walk the 2+miles back to the hardwoods i normaly hunt.we scene 2 decent bucks up there on sunday along with numerous scrapes and rutting stations.
  20. I am a gear jammer(truck driver)mainly 18 wheelers but once in a blue moon a straight class b truck,Proud member of the teamsters union local 264 outta buffalo ny.
