  1. Vermont does nothing for us, no offense. I just find it still too busy for us.
  2. No, sir, I’m not actually. I just find myself always thinking about Maine. I find myself looking through pictures from our trips, etc, routinely. I figured I would start up a thread, to see where everyone else’s equivalent place is. I just like the large tracts of forest, where animals roam, away from people. A dream is to visit the Yukon someday, but I also worry that a visit will ruin everything for me, lol.
  3. I need a change of pace, and always enjoy looking back at my pictures from vacations. Whats your favorite place that you have visited? Any pictures? Also, if money weren’t an object, where would you like to see? Everyone here, is aware of my favorite place so far.

    We’ve been to Freeport!
  5. Enjoy yourself. I am looking forward to going up more this summer.
  6. Yes sir, not good lol. That’s proof right there in your story.
  7. @Biz-R-OWorld @The_Real_TCIII My opinion is YES, stick with ethanol free on your small engines. Overtime it will deteriorate plastic, and rubber components in the engines fuel system, which will create buildup, etc...this buildup can clog filters, accumulate in the carb bowl, and in the jets, and so on. If you decide to stick with regular gas(w/ethanol) try to keep the gas tank full when not in use(especially winter storage) I like to run them out of gas as ethanol slowly absorbs moisture, which can overtime start rusting/corrosion of carburetors...etc. Same goes for your gas can you fill your equipment with...took a class on this stuff as I am a Parks Dept Foreman of 17 years. Not an expert, but this is correct info.
  8. Don’t worry, crucial details have been left out.
  9. Jenn, and I were having dinner a few minutes ago...phone alerted me of motion out front. I check the clip, and a deer ran from the back, towards the front...so I was curious as to why, as its pretty unusual for deer to be spooked here. I flip the switches to light up the back yard, I see something standing about 50’ away, I open the window, and he doesn’t flinch, I was unsure at first if it was a dog, or small deer....I yell at it, and it turns...I see a long bushy tail....definitely a coyote. This was the first for us to see a coyote not run off due to our presence.
  10. Jambalaya with smoked sausage, and shraaamp.
  11. That’s ok! Thanks for the thoughts anyways.
  12. Agree 100%...you get your arm workout for sure using it. I try to use our rack body to get up that much higher, to avoid extending the saw out so much.
  13. Oh ok, I haven’t been that far north in NY, but been a bit south by St Regis Canoe area, etc.
  14. We have a Stihl extendable gas powered pole saw at work. It’s a good unit...cut some limbs down that I prob shouldn’t have, no issues.
  15. Well it has been a good day. Jenn gave me money towards a leveling kit for my new truck, got a nice dinner for me, and my new trailer came in. Feeling very grateful today, to me it’s just another day, but to be wished all a good day, etc, is appreciated. Chicken parm, lasagna, stuffed shells, a historic Italian bread, and a little salad. From a local favorite of ours, I am a big believer in cooking Italian home, but this place does a nice job, in which I enjoy.
  16. Thanks Rob, definitely thinking about Maine constantly, going to be an epic summer! Not sure on dinner
