Great, still awaiting power, still under a travel ban even. 2ft here, 0 snow at all 30 miles away. I just pray for gentle wind, i found out in the newspaper that on Friday a 109mph gust was measured in town 2 miles away. I paced so much friday, that I had to have walked miles in the shop at work.

To sort of add to Moog's info, a very adjustable bow from Mathew's is their Mission Hype. I use that bow, the pull back weight(draw weight) is highly adjustable, i believe its 19 to 70 pounds it can be set for. Plus a wide adjustability for DL(draw lengths) not the most expensive bow, but not the cheapest either.

I agree with buckmaster, my previous post was not written to be rude. This really does suck, for lack of better terms. It can always be worse though. I too learned from this storm. We got close to 30" of the wettest snow I have ever seen. Trees busting, breaking, fortunately did not hit anything here, I feel for you with your garage, I can't imagine, but at least it was not your home. Thats why i say things can always be worse. We have electric companies from Maine, and Canada coming down to help restore my area I heard. I wish I could thank them, sounds corny, but I work for a municipality, so I kn ow what it feels like to work days straight in the elements. However, add being FAR from home/family, has got to be rough.

Welcome to the club, life in the northeast. Monday at 11:45pm if im lucky I am told. I am thrilled that my house is ok, and survived the setting its in. The rest whatever. Maybe go for a short drive, and see why there is no power. These electric linemen, and municipal workers are going around the clock. They probably haven't even been able to clear their own driveways yet, unless they hire someone. Give the power company a little slack. I understand the frustration, i really do, but those guys are working long hours, and are probably cold too. Hang in there.

Here a few from the drive home. 37 mile commute, at work it only left a wet coating, that melted on its own....one of those days. Just figured I would share some pics. All pics are of a 55mph road.

Well i made it home. Got a good 2 ft maybe closer to 30", it all looks the same this deep. Driveway took a beating, but I got it snow blowed, and trees trimmed enough to get through for now. Abandoned 4x4s on the shoulders burried, trees down everywhere. Spoke with a plow driver, he said the big tandems they run were to two light for this heavy snow, and couldn't push it, so they were stuck. This guy had to use a grater, to open up the roads for the tandems to clear. One of those storms.
