Homemade chicken enchilada filling, for chicken enchilada bowls.... Never made the bowl idea, but have made enchiladas. I always used can red enchilada sauce, but made the sauce from scratch for the first time today. The can enchilada sauce is always different than an authentic red enchilada sauce from a Mexican restaurant. Excited for this meal, needed something different lately, then the typical meals we tend to pattern in to our dinner routine.

Lol, thats ok, I appreciate the input. Like I said earlier, I would use fresh chicken for sure, but always value all ideas. I tend to look over a few recipes if its something I never made, and then summarize it inti my own version. Thanks anyway!

My father had this issue a few years back, he had heard from an old timer to add a pinch of kerosene I believe it was to the heating oil tank, and it acts like an anti-gel. Not sure on specifics though, since then he hasn't had issues. My sister, and grandparents run it as well now. Just an idea incase you haven't heard of this.

I am sad, no one has posted the foods... Power was out for a couple of hours here, not complaining, the power company does a great job here. Point is, it was a little late of a start here. Nothing special here, but fun for sure. Shrimp, pizza, veggies with dip, chips with cheese rotella. Happy to be warm.

I have hunted for 3 bow seasons so far, and I would recommend it too. TF, you seem to simply love the woods, you seem to be out there, as much as time allows....going to a bow, or crossbow will allow even more opportunity to sit. You may feel you sit enough, for your fill lol, but it is nice regaurdless. I am not a great hunter, but i do put my time in, and during crossbow season, I saw more bucks this year, then my entire hunting career. I enjoy the little bit more mild temps as well. I use a compound at the moment, but actually put an envelope aside that says "crossbow" with a $100 bill inside, and will be adding $20 here, $50 there, until mid summer, and I am going to buy a crossbow. I limit myself to about 20-25 yards with compound due to the myoelectric arm, so crossbow will help me reach 30-40 yards with good practice im assuming. Just some of my experiences for TF to chew on, to see if it sparks any ideas.
