I like the garbage bag idea too, some are vanilla scented, could double as a deer/bear attractant.

I hunt with a myoelectric prosthetic. I typically just wear long sleeves. If its raining hard, or if you yourself can't get a thick long sleeve over the casted arm, I would saran wrap the arm in a bunch of layers. You can lean forward a bit also to use your upper body to roof over the affected arm.

I have honestly never hunted in there, or walked it. I have heard stories from girlfriend's father, who does hunt toward the village of wurtsboro a bit more on the bashakill. I commute through there, and along 211 over the mountain, and have seen good bucks running across the road. A guy from work took a 14 pointer in the area a good 20 yrs ago too. I hunted as a guest at a deer camp across from the kill, this is what Im basing this all off. Like i said becareful because guys get dropped off literally on the shoulder of 17 lol. I am honestly a bit nervous to hunt in regular season on state land. Good luck, and definitely get good dry foot wear lol

Park at the park & ride on rt 209 exit, and walk to where you want to access. Monster bucks in thr bashakill marshes Be careful I have seen guys dropped off on the highway shoulder in the valley there, so there could be guys there

I am the same way about social media, a lady who owns big tract of land behind me did a background check on me apparently, because "it was wierd that its so hard to find info on you" she figured I was running from something, due to no FB, etc etc... I told her this would be the LAST place I would be if I was running away from the law....why ask for hunting permission if I was on the run. Amazing.

I saw nothing again. I saw my target monster buck a week ago for the second time, he was walking behind a doe, and had a doe following him(lol). I read somewhere that bucks will stay put in a very localized spot for 3-4 days with a doe, not sure how much truth there is to that though. However, if that is true, would that buck start seeking another doe in heat? Until all does are pretty much uninterested in his area? I know bucks will wander a ways out of there territory...
