I can honestly say, the grunt call, along with can call, seem to result in sightings for me. I am not a great hunter, could be coincidental, but seems to unlikely.

Yes, VERY simple. Big pot of water add roughly 1/2 to 2/3 of the pot full of sliced potatoes(about half the size of homefries). I added 3 links of sweet italian sausage, take it out of the casing, and crumble it into small pieces(peanut M&M sizes). Add chicken bouillon powder, to taste, not to the point of chicken soup though. Add chopped spinach, fresh, or frozen block is fine. Once potatoes, and sausage is cooked through, add a pinch of salt if needed, and black papper. Remember, chicken bouillon is salty, so be careful. Once this is all finished, add a little heavy cream to desired consistency. I like to add heavy cream to thicken it just a pinch, so its not water-like consistency. I basically wing it, my dad makes this, he had it YEARS ago in a restaurant, and liked it, so he figured it out in his head by taste. I add all the products as I go, to what tastes best to however much of each I add, if that makes sense. Very simple though, come to think of it, I forgot onion in my batch lol. I thinj my dad adds a small onion. I hope this helped.

Smaaaaaaall world wow, I have probably seen you before. I was seeing deer each sit, but its gone cold. I had been using calls, but have stopped, and sightings have gone down, I wonder if thats why, who knows.

The only spot in 3M without deer lol. Circleville....I burnt the stand out, I kid you not, over 100 rubs within 5 acres, its unreal to me, but within a week, no sightings. I sit till dark every night.

Cant argue with that! Some places end up looking like a pumpkin patch with all the orange hats in the woods, still a bit surprised Orange county is not a shotgun only county yet.

3M has tons of deer in certain areas, I know guys who see 15-20 deer on some days. Whether its fish stories, I don't know, but they do get deer every year, and nice size bucks too. What area of 3M are you planning on?

ANTLERS, Glad im not the only one. I drive Oakland Valley, and Forestburgh road daily, at 6am, and 4pm, and its all or nothing it seems with deer running. I actually laughed at that pic because its so typical, and to the point you even got a perfect pic haha.

At work now, saw a small spike on a trotting mission at 8:20. Glad to be seeing deer. Haven't been mentioning this due to fear of jinxing myself, but last year I had a pic of a BIG buck, bever saw him, but he was shearing saplings right off from rubbing. Well I saw him last friday from the stand, was at full draw waiting for another step or two. I saw him last night too, but this time about 40 yards behind me. Keeping fingers crossed.
