Typical? Not sure about that. TO THE INTERNET!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Here is the NY list: https://www.nyantler-outdoors.com/record-whitetail-bucks.html And here is a 30 point non-typical from Baldwinsville, over 200 shot with a crossbow at the end of 2016 season. I don't believe it ever got entered but the official green score was 227 5/8: https://www.outdoornews.com/2017/02/13/late-season-crossbow-kill-30-point-monster-photo/

You are right. I blew it up to full screen on a computer and the dark area where the deer is looking is a blind. You can see the arrow leave the blind so the close up shot is actually the arrow exiting. He or she must not have been shooting a Mathews -
Don't sweat it.....the Democrats have it covered in the upcoming budget.

Yeah I am aware of all that. I don't use a decoy at all and figured why use one if they aren't responding. I can see the need if they are coming in and will give them something to concentrate on instead of the hunter. Actually the only reason I am trying it is to test the theories of one of the local experts that writes a column all the time and has all kind of "tips" for successful hunts. Downwind Outdoors also does a lot of their calling during the day time and has pretty good results. A couple of years ago I was out calling coons(raccoons) in the day time and had two coyotes come in but they stayed in the thick stuff and all I had was a .22 rifle. I hit one of them but didn't get it. Since we have quite a few around here and I didn't catch any trapping I figured I would give it a shot during the day when possible and the resident expert says the "first thing" in the morning and "last" hour are supposed to be the best. I try to get as close to the area I think they may be and hope I can draw one out but no luck yet. I much prefer night hunting but figured I'd give the day shift a few tries and see what happens.

No need for a tripod if you know how or learn how to shoot off hand. I know they are popular with all the "new" predator hunters. Most of them use them to "hold" their gun for them until they are ready to shoot. If I anticipate possibly taking a long shot I bring the Primos monopod. It adjusts with one hand and adjusts from 33-65 inches so you can use it standing or sitting. Most times it stays home because it is just one more thing to carry. Made it out for the last hour of the day. I am not having much faith in this day time calling. Haven't had one come in or even answer yet.

Well it looks like it is official: BREAKING NEWS: Brewster's 320 5/8-Inch Non-Typical Buck Pending World Record Announced: After weeks of speculation, the official 60-day entry score for Luke Brewster's epic Illinois non-typical bow-killed whitetail was announced today in the OSG booth at the 2019 ATA Show in Louisville. According to North American Whitetail editor Gordon Whittington and associate editor Haynes Shelton, the Brewster buck is the largest buck ever taken by a hunter anywhere in North America! In fact, after 60-day measurements were obtained by official measurers a few days ago, the Brewster buck has a gross score of 330 0/8 inches and a net score of 320 5/8 inches. Those figures position the buck for world record status as both the top non-typical bow kill of all-time and the top hunter harvested whitetail of all-time.

U.S. Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer today announced he will introduce a congressional resolution that will designate Jamestown’s National Comedy Center as the official “National Comedy Center” of the United States. The Comedy Center, located in downtown Jamestown, built in honor of the vision of Jamestown Native Lucille Ball, will serve as a landmark that celebrates America’s rich comedic history. Schumer said this official congressional designation will help solidify the facility as a civic landmark and cultural institution, and the premiere “National Comedy Center” of the United States. Schumer noted his successful push for $1.7 million from the Economic Development Administration, and $5M in net benefit due to New Market Tax Credits. In addition to this federal funding, the National Comedy Center has also received $10M from NYS, https://www.schumer.senate.gov/newsroom/press-releases/schumer-launches-major-effort-for-formal-congressional-designation-of-the-national-comedy-center-in-jamestown-senator-says-new-designation-will-make-jamestown-the-cooperstown-of-comedy-attracting-visitors-from-far-and-wide-creating-new-jobs-and-bringing-millions-of-tourism-dollars-and-economic-development-to-western-new-york

Whoever sent the response didn't even address the other issue I included about stonewalling and building the wall. I assume they probably have a form letter for each topic and will only let you address one at a time. -

The new red flag law is going to put a crimp on firearm ownership for some. All that has to happen is someone reports there is someone "potentially" dangerous living in your house and law enforcement has to right to confiscate any firearms on the property. Doesn't matter if you "pass" a background check or not. -
I bet it was. Did you notice the "eastern" bobcat only went $100 at the Colorado auction and here they sell for $25

Received this today in response to my e-mail regarding gun control A message from: Charles E. Schumer Senator Schumer <[email protected]> Wed 2/6/2019 Dear Mr. Thank you for contacting me regarding gun control legislation. Like you, I believe the right to bear arms is guaranteed by the Constitution’s Second Amendment. While I respect the Second Amendment to the Constitution, I believe that we have a collective interest in keeping guns out of the hands of those who want to harm the innocent. I believe it is possible to strike a reasonable balance. I have long advocated for faster and more accurate background checks so legal purchasers can receive their guns quickly while ensuring criminals do not illegally purchase and possess firearms. After the tragedy at Virginia Tech in 2007, I took a leading role in passing the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) Improvement Amendments Act through the Senate. This legislation, supported by the National Rifle Association, authorizes funds for states to compile required background data into the shared NICS database. Ensuring that this information is comprehensive and up to date will better prevent criminals from illegally purchasing and possessing firearms. I have also fought to create new opportunities for law abiding citizens to exercise their right to use guns. That includes working to expand hunting grounds in NYS by creating a financial incentive to allow private landowners to allow hunters to access their property. Again, thank you for contacting me. Please keep in touch with your thoughts and opinions. Sincerely, Charles E. Schumer United States Senator Please do not respond to this email.
