Just forwarded a nastyogram to my assembly man and senator even though neither one would support it. If nothing else if gives them some ammunition to argue with their cohorts when and if the time comes. Thinking I may to move up the ladder and start contacting Gillibrand, Schumer, and maybe the king himself but I really hate wasting my time.

Wonder if he will cut back on his "Free Tuition" program or: Governor Cuomo has dedicated approximately $13 million to support the more than 11,000 displaced Hurricane Maria victims living in New York. As part of the commitment, an initial investment of $2 million will go to partnering organizations who connect vulnerable Puerto Ricans to needed services such as employment, housing, benefits counseling and health care. Governor Cuomo has also committed up to $11 million dollars in housing and workforce funding for displaced Puerto Ricans: a $1 million program to provide robust case management services to displaced Puerto Ricans, and up to $10 million in job training and placement. It will be interesting but not pleasant to see how he tap dances around all of it.

It can be a lot of fun but be prepared to put some miles on. Best done on warm sunny days with temps. around 20 degrees or so.

How is everyone ? Nobody’s frozen solid I hope
Steve D replied to rob-c's topic in General Chit Chat
At the end of the season I remove them all, charge them, and keep them in the basement. Like rob-c says do not leave them on a concrete floor as this will drain them. I have a plastic tote with a piece of plywood in the bottom I set them in. I check them once or twice through the winter and if they need it I put them on the charger. Then when I get ready to use them in the summer or spring I charge them again before putting them back in. Nothing will kill a battery faster than the cold. But you may want to touch base with The_Field_Ager. I am sure he would probably have a better way. -

More laws by Cuomo

I think we fall under # 3: Definition of democracy 1a : government by the people especially : rule of the majority b : a government in which the supreme power is vested in the people and exercised by them directly or indirectly through a system of representation usually involving periodically held free elections 2 : a political unit that has a democratic government 3 capitalized : the principles and policies of the Democratic party in the U.S. -

ANDY'S NEW ABORTION LAW
Steve D replied to CapDistPatriot's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I repeat... It is a decision to be made by both not one or the other. And for every man that cares and is involved there are 10 deadbeat fathers that don't give a damn so don't expect me to jump on the "men's rights wagon". -
ANDY'S NEW ABORTION LAW
Steve D replied to CapDistPatriot's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
I am not suggesting men should not be involved. As far as I am concerned it should be a joint decision but if for some reason the "man" can't or won't be involved it should be decided by the woman and her Dr. I don't believe it should be king Cuomo's right to dictate right or wrong whether it is abortion or gun rights at stake. ""What if all women decided to abort all babies?"" That is a pretty ridiculous assumption considering the fact "most" women look forward to having and raising a child. It is part of their "chemistry". -
I had -4 with a wind chill of -25 first thing. Warmed up to -1 with a -19 wind chill as of now. No snow to blow the wind took it all to the next county. My condolences to all the Buffalo and southerntier people that have to deal with all that snow AND the brutal temperatures.

Another Massive Storm Coming Wednesday

If you can put in the basement or some place warm for about an hr. Sometimes the super cold is to much for them. And like Belo said check the plug. -

Maybe we should all just turn them in now , save the state a whole bunch of money, and stop by the capitol to get a glass of Cuomo kool-aid -

When it comes to seasons you can't talk dates without also discussing bag limits.
