  1. And probably increases your ability to run if the need arises.
  2. And it just keeps getting better Updated at 6:57 p.m. ET New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand says she is running for president, joining a growing number of Democrats who are seeking to challenge President Trump in 2020. Gillbrand announced her decision on CBS's The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, saying she is filing her exploratory committee for the White House on Tuesday evening.
  3. He is working on that one with more gun laws that will eventually make it impossible to own one. He also failed to include his long term plan to eliminate the star program which will cost individual tax payers thousands of dollars. But on a positive note he plans on collecting a 20% sales tax on "legal" marijuana use and isn't smart enough to realize that will just increase the market value and price of black market marijuana and still hasn't learned that people will always try to find away around a item that is taxed. What a dope.

  7. Winter wonder: A wolf, a deer and the Stony River January 8, 2019 Babbitt, Minn.-based photographer Heidi Pinkerton was driving in northeastern Minnesota near Isabella on Jan. 5 when she saw a deer standing in the Stony River. “Fifteen years of photographing wildlife had me turn around in a heartbeat. I knew for a fact that a deer would not just stand in icy cold water for no reason at all. And even though I didn’t make out the wolf on the first pass, it was certainly there when I pressed the shutter!” she said. After returning to her car to retrieve a longer lens, the wolf slipped away. Pinkerton said the deer stood in the river for another hour before making its way back to shore DATING APP CHAT DOES IN POACHER Game warden catches poacher via dating app An Oklahoma woman looking for love got more than she bargained for when she unwittingly shared her exhilaration about illegally shooting a “bigo buck” on a dating app with a state game warden. Oklahoma Game Warden Cannon Harrison said he uncovered the poaching in a conversation on Bumble with a McIntosh County woman. She talked about using a spotlight to shoot the deer at night, outside the rifle season. The woman harvested only the head and back-strap meat — and she sent Harrison pictures as proof. The woman has pleaded guilty to charges of improper possession of an illegally taken animal and taking game out-of-season. She and an accomplice face $2,400 fines.
  8. The Governor has vowed to pass the Red Flag Bill, also known as the extreme risk protection order bill, which would prevent individuals who show signs of being a threat to themselves or others from purchasing or possessing any kind of firearm. If passed, this legislation would make New York the first in the United States to allow its teachers and school administrators to pursue court intervention. In addition, the Governor will push to ban bump stocks and extend the background check waiting period for purchasing guns from three to ten days. Red Flag Bill According to the Governor's Office, no law currently exists in New York State that enables a court to issue an order to temporarily seize firearms from a person who is showing red flags, like violent behavior, or is believed to pose a severe threat of harm to himself, herself, or others unless that person has also been accused of a crime or family offense. In addition, no state in the nation currently authorizes its teachers and school administrators to pursue court intervention to prevent school shootings. Governor Cuomo previously advanced the legislation to keep guns away from individuals who pose a danger with the launch of a statewide campaign to pass the Red Flag Gun Protection Bill last June. The campaign included a series of bus tours to schools across the state to stand in solidarity with students, teachers and school administrators who support the bill and other common sense gun reform.
  9. It looks like the same bill but is being presented as a new one. Not sure why because it is being reported as just introduced and I have been unable find the bill on-line. It is shown as "s-69" This week U.S Senator John Cornyn introduced the bill called S-69, a constitutional conceal carry bill. So far it’s garnered support from 31 other U.S senators as co-sponsors. http://www.ktre.com/2019/01/11/cornyn-introduces-concealed-carry-bill-east-texas-instructor-gives-input/

  11. Cornyn, Senate GOP Introduce Concealed-Carry Reciprocity Bill WASHINGTON U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) introduced the Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act. This legislation will allow individuals with concealed carry privileges in their home state to exercise those rights in any other state with concealed carry laws, while abiding by that state's laws. "This bill focuses on two of our country's most fundamental constitutional protections- the Second Amendment's right of citizens to keep and bear arms and the Tenth Amendment's right of states to make laws best-suited for their residents," said Sen. Cornyn. "I look forward to working with my colleagues to advance this important legislation for law-abiding gun owners nationwide." The legislation is cosponsored by U.S. Senators John Barrasso (R-WY), Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), Mike Braun (R-IN), Shelley Moore Capito (R-WV), Bill Cassidy (R-LA), Tom Cotton (R-AR), Mike Crapo (R-ID), Ted Cruz (R-TX), Steve Daines (R-MT), Mike Enzi (R-WY), Joni Ernst (R-IA), Deb Fischer (R-NE), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), Chuck Grassley (R-IA), John Hoeven (R-ND), Johnny Isakson (R-GA), Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS), Jim Inhofe (R-OK), Ron Johnson (R-WI), John Kennedy (R-LA), Jerry Moran (R-KS), David Perdue (R-GA), Rob Portman (R-OH), Jim Risch (R-ID), Pat Roberts (R-KS), Marco Rubio (R-FL), Richard Shelby (R-AL), Dan Sullivan (R-AK), John Thune (R-SD), Thom Tillis (R-NC), and Roger Wicker (R-MS). Background on the Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act: Protecting Fundamental Constitutional Rights: -Allows law-abiding citizens to exercise their fundamental right to self-defense while they are traveling or temporarily living away from home. -Allows individuals with concealed carry privileges in their home state to conceal carry in any other states that also allow concealed carry -Treats state-issued concealed carry permits like drivers' licenses where an individual can use their home-state license to drive in another state, but must abide by that other state's speed limit or road laws. -Respecting State Sovereignty -Does not establish national standards for concealed carry. -Does not provide for a national concealed carry permit. -Does not allow a resident to circumvent their home state's concealed carry permit laws. If under current law an individual is prohibited by federal law from carrying a firearm, they will continue to be prohibited from doing so under our bill. -Respects state laws concerning specific types of locations in which firearms may not be carried and types of firearms which may not be carried by the visiting individual. -Protects states' rights by not mandating the right to concealed carry in places that do not allow the practice. Broad Support: Last Congress, identical legislation had 40 cosponsors. In the 113th Congress, a nearly identical amendment received 57 votes in the Senate, including 13 Democrats. Senator John Cornyn, a Republican from Texas, is a member of the Senate Finance, Intelligence, and Judiciary Committees.

  14. Nice buck for sure but as with any big buck there will be tons of speculation from all directions.
  15. This should answer your question. You can't do anything in New York without a license unless you are a illegal immigrant: To hunt—means to pursue, shoot, kill or capture (other than trap) wildlife and includes all lesser acts that disturb or worry wildlife, whether or not they result in taking. Hunting also includes all acts to assist another person in taking wildlife.
  16. Knowing where they are is a big factor. Here is a option to think about that I always wanted to try but haven't. I think it would have possibilities but like everything else you don't know until you try. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D03y9AuWJD8

  18. My brother in law had one for quite a few years. Held up good and was a good all around truck. The only problem with his was it was two-wheel drive and wasn't worth a dime if it got slick out or he got off the road a little bit.
