So we are about 4 days out from the proposed meet up who's still interested in meeting up? The weather is not looking to bad for the Brewton area as of right now but I don't know where people may be coming from. The other question would be if there are only a few who can make it do we want to postpone till a later date that will hopefully work for a few more? I'm with you. Coming into winter I was talking to my neighbor telling him I really don't mind the snow as long as it comes in inches and not feet. I would like to retract that statement. I don't mind snow in inches as long as it's not every day! Sent from my moto g power (2022) using Tapatalk

As of right now we are Still shooting for Feb 16 at the Brewer Union Cafe in Brewerton at 11am if the weather is decent and we can get enough people coming to warrant a get together. You should definitely plan to come if you're free. If we have to cancel it do to weather or lack of participation I will definitely let everyone know on this post. For me it started with catching up on some rest. I often go on very little sleep during hunting season getting out as much as I can. Then I like to past this time of year getting out hiking and scouting new areas for potential stands for next year. Sent from my moto g power (2022) using Tapatalk

I can't agree with you more. I have hunted in NC with my son with bait piles not far away. It's pretty much the standard way they hunt down there. Its definitely not my preferred way to hunt but it meant getting to hunt with my son which I seldom do anymore so that trumped everything else. For me one thing is hunting deer with dogs. I never even really thought it was much of a thing until my Son's moved to NC. I guess it's kinda common down there and legal. I tell him that's cheating and I personally have no desire to take place in that. I don't know maybe it's just because I was born and raised hunting here in the north.
