Remember hold the bow in the crotch between your index finger and tour thumb....don't wrap your fingers around the grip. Also have a slight bend in your elbow when at full draw. If you cant achieve this bend the draw length my be incorrect....pretty sure your bow can be adjusted to .5 inch draw lengths Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Are you going to order and build your arrows or get them from a shop......if you are going the shop route only buy a 1/2 dozen at a time to see what you like. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Tips for hunting directly next to a corn field
mlammerhirt replied to mlammerhirt's topic in Deer Hunting
All great info....will have to post a map soon.....i have the luxury of a snowmobile trail that enters this cornfield 400-500 yards for the inside corner I hope to setup near......this way I can quietly access the field and glass once the corn starts to pop up. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk -
Tips for hunting directly next to a corn field
mlammerhirt replied to mlammerhirt's topic in Deer Hunting
Thanks for all the great advice....next week when I stop by to put some cams out I will take a few more pics.....that pic is definitely deceiving and the woods has a gradual slope from the wood line to a ravine with very little water flow separating the hardwoods from a grape field. I will have to take out the climber and go on a few scouting trips before placing a stand near that inside corner on that northwest corner of my wood lot. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk -
Tips for hunting directly next to a corn field
mlammerhirt replied to mlammerhirt's topic in Deer Hunting
One corner does meet up with our lease...when we walked it in March the property owner who occasionally hunted this property did state there is heavy doe traffic everynight from that corner......how far off the corner would you hang a stand...30-40 yards??Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk -
Looking for tips or tricks on hunting a section of hardwoods that butts up to a pretty sizeable corn field...i recently leased a property directly ajoining the field and have recovery rights in the field after making a call, but will be set up in the hardwoods...any advice will be appreciated...running cams now to get some idea of how the deer move on this property. Pic of a possible ground view i will have. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

Agree to disagree I guess....you got one thing right Bayliner is deff the bottom of the line and has little to no resale value...first time boaters jump on them cause they are a cheap way to enter the boating world I am also by no way a boat expert, but being around boats for a good 20 years, and spending more then my fair share of time on lake Erie, Niagara river and Chautauqua Lake I have been in and have seen a good variety of boats, and would take a Chap over a Glastron 8 out of 10 times. I am down in Hamburg...have an elite box you can use if you wanna meet somewhere sometime...let me know. Sent from my XT1254 using Tapatalk

A Glastron deff is a lower end Boat....Chaparral is a nice boat company. Compare hours on the motors....and age of boat and motor. Also ask the current owner for a test ride....they shouldnt refuse or they are hiding something...also ask them to be present for a cold start....don't let them have the boat in the running...just a few tips I can pass along. TC III...were you right outside the small boat harbor....was down there this afternoon walking the bike path with my wife and boys...looked like a zoo out there! The wife and I can't wait till the boys(2yrs. and 3 months)are able to pee over the side of a Boat and then we will pull the trigger on a new rig... can't beat what lake Erie has to offer!
