This is a question I’ve been asked by many different people under many different contexts. I usually give the standard answer of I love to eat and as someone in the food industry it’s important to know where our food really comes from. Truth be told there was some truth to that when I first started hunting. Now the real reason I hunt, it’s the only place I can go and turn off the outside world. It’s all About me and what I want. I love doing it, love watching the woods wake up, or go to sleep. I love the quiet, the solitude. The ups the Downs. The Disappointments, the thrills. So for me no surprise here my number one hobby is food, everything I do is based off of food. I hunt or started hunting because I wanted to be more connected to my food. That’s why I also started fly fishing. That has really become a passion of mine and I try to go up to the Delaware at least once a week from April to August. Funny thing here the more I learned about the eco system up there the less I actually keep the wild trout for food. My love of fishing and just being up there is more important that me damaging a fragile eco system to take trout. I also travel and take trips mainly for the food. Every vacation I take I try to go to some local spot that you won’t find tourists and eat what the locals eat. This has brought me to some really cool places. Eating cow foot soup down some back alley in the Cayman Islands. Hanging out and doing shots and smoking as he put it American cigarettes with a cafe owner in Sicily. Eating squid that I watched get pulled out of the ocean in Greece. Eating and getting sick from tripe soup in Nogales Mexico. Finally my last hobby is cooking. My love for this has come and gone numerous times over the years. The farther I become detached from the day to day Grind of being in a professional kitchen the more my passion for cooking returns. I don’t disagree that it is a fine caliber for deer but he asked how it rated I think you would have to agree there are better calibers chambered in a lever action carbine that would make a better”brush gun” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

So just a update, I sent them a email, they refunded the full price of the overnight shipping. They were actually really nice on the phone. My only issue now is I really hope it comes on Tuesday. Wednesday is the only day I have to really sight this In before the start of late ML season.
