That was posted just to get a rise out of you guys. It's quite obvious you avoid debate on the real issues I post that are facts. Let's talk facts about Pelosi, the leader of your party in the house. There's plenty to discuss there. Let's talk facts about the party you support. I've got plenty of facts to discuss there if you want. Let's talk facts about Trump's accomplishments in only 3 years. I've got plenty to talk about there too. Seems when facts are on the agenda, Democrats refuse to discuss them. Yet they will get all bent out of shape over things that are comical or satire, as if they were meant to be true. Call them lies to sooth your ego if you like, but that's what satire, comedy and jokes really boil down to. Manipulation is another very well practiced skill of the left. As if it proves anything other than they cannot handle the truth when it's in front of them. Let's start with these points. I claim they are facts. You say they are not? Democrats are for big government, oppressive control of everything, high taxes and less individual liberty.

BTW, the upstate environment is very different than the crowded downstate areas. Why not allow upstate NY to open up under the above outlined conditions? Anyone who feels they are a high risk for the virus can continue to isolate. Nobody will be forced to mingle. Did you see that St. Augustine just reopened their beaches and nobody is even required to wear masks?

I find it very amusing people who support Democrats get crazy about insignificant things and whether they are factual or not, yet refuse to admit the fact Democrats are for big government, oppressive control of everything, high taxes and less individual liberty. I wear it because I'm used to it. However, I do understand this virus has a 98% survival rate. Even if someone gets it and reacts badly to it, the chances of dying from it are very low. I feel the fear factor regarding this virus is way overblown.

Address why the actions suggested in the OP would be harmful and why Cuomo's lockdown isn't a major threat to the economy and people's lives, long into the future? People can certainly live their lives normally and still adhere to practices that will prevent the spread of this thing. Doomsayers can always make a case for the worst. But if we don't start acting smart about this virus crises, the financial and economic crises that will be created will be far worse than anything this virus might do. What's coming in the economic crises isn't something that might happen. It is certainly coming.

I want to know why people feel the need to constantly cast negative attacks at him whenever something positive about him is posted. That's what the media does. And 98% of what they broadcast about him is negative. Something very fishy going on it this country when a man can improve so much in the country and people will attack him for things that have nothing to do with any of that. I'm not defending Trump as much as the country itself. I believe it's true that they are not after Trump. They're after US! He's just standing in their way.

I had a 1991 Chevy Caprice with 5.0 V8 and auto overdrive that got 28 mpg highway. I now have a 2012 Escape with 4 cyl no Ecoboost and it gets ......28 MPG. It's pretty obvious the mpg rating can vary with each vehicle regardless of the engine size or the vehicles weight.

I notice leftists do this a lot with most everything Trump says too. They misinterpret and then swear he said something he never said, so they can convince their base he's something other than what he is. Once again, they're easily manipulated.

You are obviously not paying attention. The only way anyone could not see it is only paying attention to broadcasts that never report on it. The one's that do are probably dismissed as "right wing" programs that only tell lies. If Democrats ever control the Presidency and both houses of Congress, you will see it as the first thing they do. Why? Because they abhor individual rights as well as the means to defend them.

You don't understand what I just wrote at all. I'm not saying you and your Democrat friends aren't good people. I'm saying the party you support isn't good. They've somehow convinced you to support them in spite of their desire to use your support against you. The things I have listed above are part of your party's election platform every 4 years. It's not untrue. Heck, I didn't even go into abortion here at all. The Republican platform doesn't support any violent or racist extreme right wing ideas, so the one's you mention not only do not apply to regular GOP voters, they don't apply to the party either. The way you vote doesn't offend me, it worries me. I never said you were ignorant, leftist, Marxist or a totalitarian. I said you are supporting them, albeit unwittingly. One of the reasons liberals are so hard to talk to, is because they are easily offended. The easily offended are easily manipulated and Democrats count on that. I never understood the idea of discussing the "middle ground" when it comes to political ideology. That's for discussing policies. There is no middle ground when one ideology endorses freedom and one Communism. Or is the middle ground Socialism? If so, we will never meet in the middle concerning ideology.

I doubt this is going to happen. People who live there do not want to live anywhere else and no threat on any level will sway their desire to be there. NYC is the #1 target for a nuclear device employed by enemies of the US, freedom and democracy. Even the government admits this, and also admits it will likely be impossible to prevent it from happening. If that doesn't get people to leave NYC, nothing will.
