  1. Like the US Constitution and the Declaration of Independence? You can't make a complicated point in 10 words or less. Besides people keep demanding details, sources and proof. I promise you, there won't be a test afterwards. BTW- it's not the Labor Dept that's pushing class warfare,
  2. The e-mail was sent saying reload during your home isolation. Seems they were targeting places that are shut down to me.
  3. That's the funny part. Catalog houses will ship them to us but Barnes won't? Doesn't make any sense.
  4. Well, well, well....States are finally looking into saving taxpayers some money by laying off non-essential state workers. Or are they? https://patriotpost.us/articles/70142-economic-devastation-demands-government-downsizing-2020-04-23?mailing_id=5011&utm_medium=email&utm_source=pp.email.5011&utm_campaign=digest&utm_content=body
  5. The Labor Department released weekly numbers on jobless claims today, and as everyone anticipated, it's another horrible report. Some 4.4 million Americans filed for unemployment last week, bringing the total number of jobless claims since the China Virus pandemic shut down the nation up to 26.4 million. For shocking perspective, the U.S. has now erased all job gains since the Great Recession, and it happened in just five weeks. Is it any wonder people have been protesting the lockdown measures across several states? CNBC reports, "With virtually all other economic indicators pointing to the worst downturn since the Great Depression, jobless claims are seen as the most current way of measuring how deeply conditions have been impacted by social distancing associated with the coronavirus. The total is far worse than anything the U.S. has seen before, with the previous one-week peak of 695,000 dating back to October 1982." While the initial wave of jobless claims primarily came from the lower-income service, restaurant, and hotel industries, that's changing. Bloomberg notes, "White-collar employees largely escaped the initial wave of coronavirus layoffs, often because the nature of their jobs meant it was easier to do them from home. But even companies that managed to stay afloat have seen a big squeeze on revenue and profits, as large areas of the economy are shuttered. That's triggering a second round of job cuts or furloughs, with office workers taking a bigger hit this time." Democrats are obtuse, as usual. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo was questioned during a press conference about the growing economic crisis that has resulted from his continued lockdown order. He lashed out by suggesting that, in lieu of protesting, laid-off workers "go take a job as an essential worker" because hardship "doesn't equal death." As bad as that was, America's favorite socialist, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, was arguably even more out of touch. AOC once again displayed her complete ignorance of basic economics as she argued, "When we talk about this idea of reopening society, you know, only in America does the president — when the president tweets about 'liberation' — does he mean 'go back to work.' When we have this discussion about going back or reopening, I think a lot people should just say, 'No, we're not going back to that.'" She then ridiculously asserted, "We're not going back to working 70-hour weeks just so that we could put food on the table and not even feel any sort of semblance of security in our lives." Evidently, AOC believes that the relationship between working and earning money is either entirely coincidental or flat-out oppressive. In her case, the former might be understandable, as she receives a $174,000 annual taxpayer-funded salary no matter what she does or doesn't do. Finally, everyone needs to brace themselves, as this economic crisis looks to be closer to the beginning than the end. And you can bet the Democrats are readying Joe Biden's campaign to push for the biggest "tax the rich" campaign in generations. They will use the economic shock, massive job losses, and debt as fodder for an enormous surge of the Left's political playbook favorite — class warfare.
  6. Tipped TSX 100-PERCENT COPPER BODY Since its introduction in 2003, Barnes' TSX Bullet has earned a reputation as "the perfect hunting bullet." Now, Barnes has improved on perfection by adding a streamlined polymer tip. The new Tipped TSX features the same 100-percent copper body with multiple rings cut into the shank. It delivers the same gnat's-eyelash accuracy and "dead right there" performance—but with an added polymer tip that boosts BC and improves long-range ballistics. The tip and a re-engineered nose cavity provide even faster expansion. Complete penetration, virtually 100-percent weight retention and four razor-sharp cutting petals that double bullet diameter means the new Tipped TSX creates more internal damage than any competing bullet. Instant expansion and perfect penetration ensures cleaner, quicker kills. IN STOCK SKU TTSX Skip to the end of the images gallery Just happen to get an e-mail from Barnes about reloading while sitting at home during the virus and decided to look into some bullets. Was quite surprised to see they won't ship to NY. They're BULLETS, not cartridges. Either NY changed their law, or manufacturers won't take a chance since the law is so hard to understand. I've had these shipped directly to me by a catalog house within the last year.
  7. Where's the hard evidence about Russia? Why do we accept reports from CNN & MSNBC's "anonymous" sources? Where was Christine Blase Ford's hard evidence? What hard evidence exists that Trump is racist? At least in this case there is ample evidence to say the numbers were high, the feds got involved and asked why nobody was dying of anything else all of a sudden, and the numbers suddenly went down. That's what the original post inferred. Deny it if it helps you sleep better.
  8. In what is emerging as one of the biggest untold stories of the coronavirus crisis, the media is starting to pay attention to the fact that the carnage of COVID-19 in nursing homes in New York state not only took place on Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s watch but was actually facilitated by an order from his state government. https://www.westernjournal.com/mark-levin-explodes-huge-scandal-cuomo-govts-role-nursing-home-coronavirus-deaths/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=westernjournalism&utm_content=2020-04-27&utm_campaign=memelink
  9. Does anyone remember about March 17th time frame when Cuomo talked about taking your children to a state park? It's not about the virus anymore (if it ever was). Camping is probably one of the healthiest, most active outdoor activities people can do. Utterly ridiculous and shows how out of touch him and his administration is with Upstate New York's lifestyle.

  11. It's not an assumption. It's an observation based on personal life experience, as well as the post it was directed at. Truth often is the source of stereotypes. And since I said "a lot of folks" as opposed to all of them, it doesn't qualify as a stereotype at all. Nice try though.
  12. The main reason for the imbalance, particularly in the top four states, is that those places are home to some of the highest household incomes in the country. Therefore, they pay more in federal taxes, which doesn't necessarily equate to more federal money for services. Keep in mind, Democrats like Cuomo, are the one's always calling for the rich to pay more in federal taxes, calling it their "fair share". The federal government generates revenue from sources like income and employment taxes and redistributes it based on need. And not all states benefit equally. Money from the federal government is redistributed back to states in the form of grants, aid programs for the needy and payments to major government contracting firms such as defense companies. The states receiving the most from Washington on a per capita basis tend to have relatively large poor populations that depend on federal assistance programs like SNAP (formerly known as food stamps) and Medicaid. On the flip side, the states that give more to the federal government than they receive tend to have higher income residents. Exceptions include states like Maryland and Virginia, which, though they are wealthier states, also benefit from disproportionately high federal funding partly due to their large defense contracting sectors. The fact of the matter remains, the federal government's legal obligation to fund programs for poor people, requires it to send more money to states with more poor people. Which political party is responsible for the vast majority of the laws that force the federal government to send more money to poor states? The same party that has Governors now complaining they don't get as much back as they put in. Basically, they passed laws to do what they are now complaining isn't fair to them. The most interesting point concerning federal money to states is the fact it is intended to supplement state's needs to assist the poor, not provide a bail out to states that have overspent on public employee salaries, benefits and pension entitlements, especially when the pensions are severely underfunded by the state itself. States with high unfunded liabilities have self inflicted financial difficulty. The fact these states threw taxpayer dollars at public employees to buy their votes, does not give them a right to request the federal government force other financially sound states to supplement their fiscal and political mismanagement. However, Cuomo would like nothing more than to convince the gullible that it does.
  13. He may be left handed but his politics are certainly left of center. I love how people make assumptions without any experience. A lot of folks left of center seem to do that. I couldn't care less what you read. It's your loss. I agree though, it would be impossible for me to have an intelligent conversation with you, but not because I wouldn't be capable of speaking intelligently. Plus the fact you don't seem to be capable of intelligently addressing anything I post, preferring to spew venom because your frustrated about it. I pity you.

  15. "People are dying because other medical care is not getting done due to hypothetical projections." Atlas noted that states and many hospitals abruptly stopped "nonessential" procedures and surgery. "That prevented diagnoses of life-threatening diseases, like cancer screening, biopsies of tumors now undiscovered and potentially deadly brain aneurysms," he said. https://www.wnd.com/2020/04/stanford-doctor-5-reasons-stop-panic-end-total-isolation/?fbclid=IwAR3IETYa47D6TaKfoEfbJFLCGlDB2ppiUOo8kvAPu5BEuS8QrquP1uDuM9k

  18. Governors, mayors, and other officials are taking advantage of the COVID-19 crisis to try things they could not do before. Apparently, when you can tell people what they can and cannot do, some politicians get carried away. Michigan’s governor told people they could not go to another home, even if they owned it. She said you can’t take your boat or wave runner on the water. However, she said abortion IS an essential service, as it relates to a woman’s health. A federal judge in Tennessee said the same thing. So, you can’t get a haircut, have your nails done, or workout at a gym, but you can get an abortion. You can stand in line at Walmart, but you can’t sit in your car in a church parking lot and hear worship and an encouraging message. It’s not as if anyone needs godly encouragement! Night after night we have COVID-19 updates with the same message: stay away from each other. We don’t want so many cases of the virus that we overload the hospital system. New York City was the epicenter of cases in the nation, yet patients did not overload the system. Yes, some hospitals were very busy, but others … not so much. The urgent medical facilities set up to assist, including a U.S. Navy hospital ship, turned out not to be needed. Anyone remember over 800,000 hospitalizations in 2018 with flu patients? We didn’t overload the system then. Remember Gov. Andrew Cuomo yelling he needed the federal government to send 30,000 ventilators to New York immediately or someone (I guess the president) had to pick who would or would not die? The state actually only needed about 5,000 ventilators. I also remember Gov. Cuomo saying recently he thought it was interesting that nobody was dying of other causes anymore. Since keeping score on the coronavirus deaths, hardly anyone is dying of the flu, pneumonia, or other factors. I was shocked to hear him actually voice this. Why are COVID-19 deaths hyped every day? Why do these people want to shut down the country for months if they know it will result in an economic disaster unlike anything we’ve ever seen? Most of these “experts” have received government paychecks for so long they forget someone has to work to pay for it. Who can we trust to get the truth? Something to think about?
  19. Cuomo is not doing a good job. Where are the state layoffs? How will he recoup the billions in revenue the state would have gotten from taxes when the crises is over? There's only one way, raise all the taxes on us. NY was near bankruptcy prior to this crises with high levels of unfunded public liabilities. He thinks the Fed will bail out NY with a check. That won't happen. Yet he tells us we have to suffer. We lose income with no way to recoup the losses. https://patriotpost.us/articles/70198-video-cuomo-ignores-concerns-of-economic-hardship-2020-04-25?utm_campaign=debounce&utm_content=read_more&utm_medium=web&utm_source=patriotpost.us
  20. Cuomo should be forced to watch this video to force his understanding of individual rights.

  22. Spent time yesterday putting all of my turkey hunting gear out for the opener. Everything is in order and ready to go except the mouth calls. For the life of me I cannot find them. I've got the slate and box call but have no idea where I put the mouth calls. Hopefully I find them before Friday.
