    Was a foggy morning and was slow . Took only 1 woodie and a hen bufflehead landed in the pond. Also had a bald eagle light my spread up then fly by that was a really cool experience he was 20 yards from me. Didn’t get a pic of that it happened so quick.

    Wood duck is probably the best tasting duck out there. I won’t even shoot Mergansers not worth the spent shell. I tried one once and it was horrendous.

    Seriously? He is developing it takes longer for some. He played mistake free today no turnovers. If he works on his accuracy instead of hitting golf balls with @turkeyfeathers he can be good. I’m clearly saying this now cause we’re 5-1. If we were 1-5 I’d be saying the same thing .

    The Eastern flyaway is the only ones Jay . Poor habitat and to many hens dying are the cause of this. Biologists say if the 4 bird limit stayed then years from now there would be none . It’s sad cause guys in the central flyaway with thousands of acres of corn they flood are blasting 4 mallards per guy everyday of the week.

    It does suck and it’s BS. That 2 bird Mallard limit will stay like this for a number of years also.
