I can guess why your area is suffering just like the entire country is suffering. It’s the guys with hundreds of acres of corn fields that they plant just to flood it with 10 mojo’s out shooting 1 to 2 year old birds. Also it’s the guys like habitat flats and white oaks that have gobs of wary birds that won’t work any hole cause they’ve been shot at time and time again. This season in NY was without a doubt the worst I’ve ever seen. Lots of wood ducks but hardly any mallards and Ducks unlimited gives all the money to Canada and doesn’t to squat for us or improving our habitat.

After watching the hunting public guys and at first questioning how and why they use a saddle for bow hunting I thought I’d purchase one and give it a try for the 2020 season. It’s definitely going to take some practice and getting use to but I’m just tired of hanging my stands in the preseason and finding out they need to be elsewhere and being to lazy to move them making a ton of noise. I went with the Tethrd saddle and kit , not sure what climbing method I will use. I’ve been talking with @BowmanMikeand he’s planning on giving it a try this year. Anybody else have one or has hunted out of one let me know what ya think.

I’d have to say @Biz-R-OWorld not getting a deer when he came to visit. I’d like him to shoot a nice WNY buck so we all can here about it for the next 5 years lol... In all seriousness the visits are fun but 2 years now we had him in our best stand and can’t get him to punch the tag. Hopefully 2020 is the year.

I don’t think they have recovered yet after that Ravens beat down. Last night was ugly win but a win . Steelers have a good D so it was nice to see us put up 17 against a strong Defense. Not sure who we will face come first round but I wouldn’t be upset if it was Baltimore. From what I hear our D would love another crack at Lamar especially now after playing against him not to long ago.

I was so fired up last night. I was pacing my house , @TreeGuyalmost had me convinced to drive an hour and half away to hunt those things down. Funny thing is that the woods where I have that cam hung is identical. Imagine if these guys put that much work and effort into their real jobs.
