I've been using the answer from HUN as my first guess in NYT, then both of those answers in QUO. Not sure if it's helping or hurting.
I'm near the Pepacton and drove past it a few days ago. Though we're in a little three day cold snap, it has been warm here and I'm not sure I would venture onto the ice.
I took a lot of bites when I was training dogs. Was lucky that I never got infected though I did take one to the face that cost me a tooth and a dozen stitches across my lips. Had a friend who received a small bite to his hand and ended up with sepsis.
Damn.
Clean it out very well with a lot of water. Apply antibiotic. Don't bandage unless you need stitches, or if you do change frequently. Keep dry to avoid infection.
