The time line on the thread clearly shows who threw the first jab.

I just imagine it was more a point and shoot/stationary target round rather than a pass shooting type of round.

Not to derail the thread too much but just curious as I've always thought about getting a 410 but never have actually owned or handled one. Would one even swing a 410? It doesn't seem to contain enough pellets or pattern well enough to do so from videos I've seen.

If it was me and you had a firearm visibly in the vehicle, I'm cuffing you too. I'm taking no chances. I would have removed them once I realized you're cool but initially, I have no idea what your story is about. Those that don't are some brave mofo's. Just a couple of weeks ago, two officers were shot when stop a man for drinking in public and simply asked him for ID. Apparently, scanning his ID would have came up with a bunch of stuff so he decide to shoot the cops and try and make a get-away but then ultimately off'ed himself. These are the possible situations cops face and frankly, if I was a cop, you would call me one of the a-hole cops because I plan on making it home every night.

When I log on to ESPN to see the results of Sundays football games, I don't want to have to skim pass several articles of random topics to see the scores. Just as when I go to my political sources, I don't want to skim through a bunch of hunting threads to read my politics.

That my point. You have to first content with the fact that discharging a bow would make him a criminal before you can even talk about if it is ethical to hunt deer in a deer cull area.

Two "thinking out of the box" options that may or may not work: One: you can mount one of the sight (either open or scope) on a 45 degree angle. Works well in AR platforms. I'm sure it may work on some tacti-cool bolt action hunting rifles as well. Two: Get a flip to side rail magnifier mount. You flip the scope to the side when you want to use the open sights and then you flip it down if you want to use your scope. These mounts are typically designed for magnifiers and not scopes but it might work with a scope? http://www.amazon.com/degree-Quick-Mount-Magnifier-Scope/dp/B00CIB4QBI

Some times we just have remind ourselves to see through the eyes of the other person. Not all cops are grizzled veterans. Some are young rookies who are probably nervous and scared. No amount of training can take place of the real thing when their lives can potentially be in actual danger. Case in point, Peter Liang.

The ordinance law makes it much more than a hunting ethics question.

Those look like spammer names.

Just my honest opinion...if the political section was removed I'm guessing only a small handful of people will actually miss it.

It snowed yesterday afternoon and then turned to icy rain at night. Walking around last night was tough because the snow had initially melted but turned to ice and covered the sidewalks. Luckily, it was all melted by this morning and we're just getting rain now.

I can understand this attitude if it was people just randomly complaining but for this particular thread, it was a moderator who is soliciting opinions on how to improve the site so naturally, users are responding to his question. I don't think this "take it or leave it" attitude is warranted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you're going 410, how about the Rossi Circuit Judge? I don't own one but it has always seem interesting to me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Can't wait to see the final product!

The filters are customized. If you're not logged and viewing as a guest, no filters are applied because the site wouldn't have any of knowing what filters to apply. I don't see anyway where a new guest who doesn't have an account yet to filter threads. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The bottles on both ends are Tsing Tao. Pronounced "Sing Tao". The T is silent like in tsunami or General Tso's Chicken. I'm guessing the Tsing Tao on the right is a special edition bottle or something. The closest taste comparison I can think of is El Presidente or Stella Artois. I have not have not tried the others. More importantly, this is what new members see when they're trying to decide if they want to join the forum or not.

That being said, I got Lasiks done by Harvey Rosenblum and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. Rosenblum isn't cheap but when it came to my eyes, I didn't want to settle for a lesser doctor. He gave me 20/15 vision. I have no idea what his views are in regards to shooting and hunting. http://www.rosenblumeye.com/rec-physicians_rosenblum.htm

Shouldn't everyday normal vision be more important than vision for purposes of hunting. I also don't see how if one has 20/20 vision looking through a scope, binocular, etc wouldn't have better clarity than someone with lesser vision looking through the same optics.

Use to be, I would browse through 3 or 4 threads to find 2 I would like to read. Now I have to scroll through 8 to 10 just to find a couple worth reading. Even at that, many of them I stop reading after the first few pages because at that stage, the point, idea, or message has already been delivered and the derailment and bickering begins.

My wife mentioned she wanted to watch the Broadway play "Kinky Boots". When I noticed that Wayne Brady is staring in the show and this is his last week I figured I had to get the best seats regardless of cost. Wayne Brady wasn't cheap but he was worth it. His performance made the whole show. He was outstanding. When then met him after the show and he waited out in the freezing cold to take pictures with anyone who was willing to wait for him.
