Once the python wraps around a gator, the gator is done. The gator can bend back and bite the python once it's wrapped around its body. I'd imagine juvenile gators do fall prey to large pythons. With no natural predators they have been wrecking havoc in the Everglades. I hear they're impossible to catch though. Over 600 hunters participated and only 24 snakes were caught.

First off, Japan doesn't have a problem with the US. ISIS isn't targeting these countries because these countries doesn't spread their influences into the Middle East. China has never engaged in a war beyond its borders. They're international policies is "live and let live". This may change shortly as ISIS is starting to spread their influence into China and China has a huge oil and economic stake in the Middle East. Unfortunately since China's largest border is shared with Russia (Siberia), they'll be teaming up with Putin. http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/china-declares-war-isis-after-6862200 http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2016/jan/13/inside-ring-china-may-join-russia-war-against-isla/

First attempt at Osso Bucco. Came out nicely. I want to eventually try this with venison instead of beef one day. Will need a creative way to but through the shank bone if I want to do so. Maybe next year. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Arrows kill by cutting and blood lose. Bullets kill by hydrostatic shock. That's is why I say you can't make an equal comparison between an air gun and a crossbow. Completely different ways of killing game animal. The real question is if the air gun produces enough hydrostatic shock to kill it. If it doesn't produce enough then yes, it's no different than a field point. The fact that DEC is even considering big bore air guns tells me that some of these air gun do produce enough hydrostatic shock. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The comparison between air gun versus bow/crossbow is inaccurate in my opinion. Hunting with an air gun I think is closer in comparison to hunting with a handgun. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I like the Devil's Cut and Johnny Black for some reason. I've had Macallan 18 which everyone raves about and all the Johnnies except for the Blue Label and I still prefer Black for some reason.

I use steel whiskey cubes. They don't chill as well as ice would but they don't melt and dilute. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Daisy VL-A Firearm, Or Not A Firearm?
Elmo replied to 13BVET's topic in Guns and Rifles and Discussions
According to Wikipedia. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daisy_V/L The V/L guns and ammunition were discontinued in 1969 after the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ruled that they constituted a firearm, and Daisy, which was not licensed to manufacture firearms, decided to discontinue manufacture rather than become a firearms manufacturer. We got a slow cooker as a gift and never even opened the box for years. Last year, moving stuff around the closet, I found it and told my wife we should probably put this to use. Woah, it changed everything. We use it a lot now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I met up with several NYC hunters last night as a meet and greet. I bought up the Dove Hunting cause on your behalf and mentioned about voting for regional representatives that are in favor of hunting. No exaggeration. Almost every single one of them responded with "there are mourning doves in NY? I've never seen any." Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
