  1. I have several relative that all had kids around the same time. My youngest was born less than a week than after my cousins. We noticed a huge difference between boys and girls. Girls tend to develop intellectually faster and are calmer while the boys tends to develop physically first and tends to explore more. My youngest is 5 months younger than my SIL's daughter but you can have a full conversation with her while my boy is like "Me...Tarzan. You come." but he learned to walk before her and now climbs to the top of the dinner table on his own and jumps from it. My SIL has since also had a boy and she now notices the difference too. After the girl she thought it was easy but not now with the boy. He has more energy, is up later, and the moment she turns her head for a second, he commando-crawls his way to the kitchen. She now has to be on every single second.
  2. AMD has a long history of making "affordable" processors. Clock speed and fan reduced their speed so you don't actually get their actual advertised speed. Since then, AMD has expanded their line to offer both lower end and higher end processors. Their higher end processors rival that of Intel's higher end processors but in doing so, the price is also about the same. (Intel also offer a lower line of processors as well, the Celeron series. For a quick easy cheat sheet, their higher end processors is the Core series with the higher number being better. For example, Core i7 is better than Core i5 and Core i9 is their newest one.) Either way, you're not saving when choosing between AMD Ryzen versus Intel Core i9's and the performance are pretty much the same. You're not a race car driver where the slightest difference can determine whether you win the race or come in second so don't waste too much brain cells trying to decide. When all things are equal, I'd side with the Intel Core i-series simple because they've been the top dog as far as high end processors for a longer time.

    Welcome to the party!
  4. I have a Simmons also on my 10/22. Some people does competitive shooting with their 22LRs. But if you're just taking tree rats, a Simmons works just fine. They're cheap but they're one of the best values for the money.
  5. I was just pulling your leg. No worries. A detailed description is better than not posting at all. Please keep posting.
  6. MacBooks are really good but also slightly over priced. They're main strengths is in graphics and they're also very reliable. The drawback with Macs is that when they do break, you're charged an arm and a leg to fix and turn around time isn't as fast. Unless you're studying to be a graphic designer, etc, Window products is what most of the business world is using so it there is one operating system you can learn I think it's more beneficial to learn on a Windows product. The Dell Latitude E-series is a very good business class laptop. So is the Lenovo ThinkPad (formally IBM ThinkPad). If you want more flexibility, the Lenovo Yoga is a good choice. Super light (think iPad light) and you can fold the screen completely around so that it actually becomes an iPad/tablet.
  7. Not JETS but in on Delta and killing it with a couple of cruise lines.
  8. It's not left out. It is very much the fact. COVID19 is a variation of the flu but it's a variation that we don't have Robitussin for. If COVID19 has a vaccine and you can go into your local grocery store and buy an over the counter medicine for it then everyone's attitude towards COVID19 is completely different.
  9. This is a picture dependent thread. I think we I can speak for the majority and say that we would like to see this masterful dish.
  10. This is nothing like the flu. Even the numbers don't support it. 30K to 60K people die annually from the flu in the US. This thing is about to hit 100K in what? 3 months? And that's with us throwing everything at it but the kitchen sink. In all my life I've never heard of anyone passing from the flu. You read about it so you know it's possible but it's almost mythical. I know people who have passed from COVID 19. So many people I talk to know of someone who has passed from it.
  11. Can someone identify? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Finally having tried all 3, I say the potato topper tops my list! It's awesome!

  14. I mean what does that even mean? Can have gatherings of 10 or less people so long as social distancing measures are taken? Then is that even a gathering? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  16. With a lot of activities closed, many families are heading to these spots. I find every spot more crowded then they normally would be. At least there is still enough space to keep some good distance.
  17. Like every one else said, why feel the need to upgrade? The Nikon is a very fine scope. If you had $400 and deciding between the two, I'd pick the Vortex. But if you already have the Nikon, you'll be spending a lot of money for a very small upgrade that you probably won't even notice. Along with the time and energy to mount and sight in all over again.
  18. @Biz-R-OWorld - found it cheaper.
  19. Every weekend it's finding a new kid friendly trail to hike and flying the drone. Seems like it's all I do now. Starting to get tired of it. While I understand the need for a lock down but I don't understand why places like the zoo and Storm King Art Center (where social distancing can easily be practiced) are closed?
  20. It blows my mind that my wife pays $8.99 a pound for chicken.
  21. That's awesome, First-Light! Congratulations!
  22. Some times all it takes is a "I double dog dare you".
