  1. Up in 9r. No wind dead quite. Be nice to finally see a deer again
  2. I'm thinking the rut hasn't got going yet. Had scrapes pop up about a week ago, they haven't been touched since. Starting to see little rubs. And zero deer activity.
  3. Pouring in 9r. Oh well cant kill them from bed. Thank you veterans
  4. Great video thanks for sharing
  5. Thanks. What would you suggest planting for logging roads. We have no way to get tractors in or anything other than a atv and plant by hand
  6. I tried the no till method this year on old logging roads. Terrible results. We used a leaf blower and cleared all leaves away. Sprayed 41% gly (3 treatments) had no weeds etc just plain dirt. Threw done brassicas, clover, wheat. Nothing grew. Im thinking the soil was to compacted? So next year I'm hoping to have a harrow break up the soil a bit. We had a disc on the Atv that did nothing. So hopefully the harrow will loosen it up enough that I can disc it, then plant
  7. Had a small doe walk thru, then had a small buck with 2 on the left no right side antler at 5 yards.
  8. Shoot them up, we get a group together at the fire station a couple of times a year and hit up the local farms. Its a good time
  9. I've never had any ticks on deer. This year on my buck I had 2 that I noticed
  10. Already had a bear come in at 30 yards in the thick and couldn't get a shot
  11. This is the only thing that grew in my plots. All on logging roads. Its about 25yds long. Thats it. Very disappointing
  12. Team 4. 4 points. 2 on each side. Do I need anything?
  13. Not the biggest guy but he'll start to fill the freezer. Can't hunt to much this year so I couldn't be picky
  14. Agreed the more light from the moon, less to no deer travel in the morning
