  1. It's like Christmas Eve when you're a kid. Good luck to everyone going out tomorrow and if you're gonna be up in a tree WEAR A HARNESS! Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  2. Worked this bird for a few hours. Got him all fired up looking for a fight. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  3. Love the line wolf assault! Stealth strips go on great and really make it a quiet set. I preset mine with a hss life line. But they're super easy to take down and move to where the action is. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  4. Well back in the lone wolf for the last bow hunt of this year. Two big doe must've heard me crunching in the snow and trotted off. Lots of fresh tracks in the fresh snow. Thank God for another year in the woods! Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  5. Back to where I bumped the big doe and bug buck yesterday. Lots of new tracks since yesterday and a pretty fresh rub. Probably my last hunt for the year. Hunting from the ground Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  6. The doe was probably bedded down and then ran another thirty yards. She was probably at least 60 from me. Oh believe me I would have let an arrow fly if in range. I'm really kicking my self for not sighting in my muzzleloader!!! Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  7. Crept into the woods and pushed a big doe about thirty yds then she stopped. So did I. About five minutes later a big ass buck followed her. They walked about 100 yds then I saw them again walking off. I got in my tree nice n quiet. Fresh tracks all around in the snow and urine. Hopefully they come back! 8. I heard something scrape the leaves and bed down around 330. Well, I lightly grunted at the last ten minutes of light and whatever it was got up and was crunching around in the frozen leaves. It walked around till about 5:00 then I heard more footsteps, then running. Then a group of doe trotted by me in the dark. I got down and bumped whatever it was (a giant freaking buck!?!) On the other side of the hill where the initial sounds of steps came from. I'll be back in Thursday and Friday. Hopefully Thursdays east wind is true to it's forecast Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  9. Hopefully the deer cooperate Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk

  12. Love my line wolf hang ons. The hunt ready system is awesome. Get some stealth strips and everything stays pretty quiet too. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  13. Back in the stand. Had hoped for a spot today but family's at the cabin and that's too close but dammit that's where the deer are. Prob last chance till one more late bow or I get a divorce one of the two lol Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  14. Tonawanda rail road tracks buck Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk

  16. Well apparently I hung my stand in July in the same spot that an older gentleman had, "been hunting for 35 years". Not the land owner btw. I get there early af, quiet af, scent moved af. He stomps up after daylight with his chair hanging and banging from his side. I whistle and wave to get his attention. I thought he hunted the other side of my family members property, that's why I put the stand there. I try to talk to him but he can't hear me so he yells more lol and eventually was nice but geez, man every year this guy f's me on opening day! He's said he got up early for nothing. I guess not early enough lol! Only saw two doe and a fawn and then him wandering all over the place till I left. I hate gun season! Can't wait till late now but by then they've blown the whole place completely out into a dead zone. How many days till October first? Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  17. Two doe just bedded down pretty close by Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk

  21. Shot another nice doe around 3:30. Watched her mill around for about half an hour till she got in a lane. 15yd shot she ran right under my stand crossed a creek and into bedding area on the property line. She trotted off a good distance then it got too think to watch I think I hit a branch, not good blood at the point of impact. Looks like a pass through though. Got on blood about an hour after the shot, not great blood but the snow made it easy to follow. Found a body bed about 125yds in and backed out. Luckily got the neighbors number from a hunting app and he answered. Gave me permission to pursue tomorrow. Fingers crossed! That'll make three does this year Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
