Maybe they didn't check the forecast?!

I purchased the Vortex chest harness and so far I like it. In retrospect, I would have rather picked up a camo harness, because it's khaki colored and the rest of me is pretty camouflaged. But, I had left over 'stealth strips and covered it up pretty good. I posted earlier in the season here if you want to check it out.

I bought the 3 pack. Use a linemans belt/strap to initially set the stand and lifeline up. It's so quiet too! You can also use the lifeline as the 'treestrap' when you're in the stand. They also have lifelines that are highly reflective so they're super easy to spot when going in, in the dark. I highly recommend!

Saw a coyote early this am, then about 730 another little coyote ran out into corn stubble. I called him right to my stand and was able to draw back on him but didn't get a shot. Then had a doe come my way to about 5ft from the base of my tree. Then I saw it was a young spike and let down n let him walk. Moved my hand on stand to a new spot because I was actually set up on the neighbor's property or at least too close. Set up right near buck bedding I found. Wind in my face the whole way. Bumped some big bodies up wind of me. Then around 545ish a 2.5 or 3.5 year old came out into the corn stubble. Then a couple 1.5 year olds joined him for some light sparring. Didn't come closer than 100yds then got too dark. Snuck out without disturbing them. I saw a biiiiig body and tines just across the field but wouldn't come out of the tree line. Next time hopefully!
