  1. Brake lines 100%. Just put stainless lines in mine. From the number of rotted lines that were cut and not removed in there, it looks like it’s the 3rd set in less than 140k miles for my truck. Never again.
  2. GMCs are just slightly gussied up Chevys. I wonder if they will ever put a decent engine in a half ton again. The 5.3 is so underpowered compared to what every other brand runs.
  3. You’ve got that right. I’ve been in Teslas. Are they quick? Absolutely. Is my not as fast Hellcat more fun? Hands down, yes. It’s a completely different experience.
  4. This is year number 6 for this thread! It’s very similar to the Live From The Woods thread. Post in this thread from your boat, stream, farm pond or wherever you are trying to fool those fish! Give us your thoughts, current conditions, pictures, sightings, etc.
  5. I’m with you 100%. I didn’t think that the death of the big horsepower V8s would happen in my lifetime, but here we are. It’s sad. I’m just happy to have the chance to own one of the baddest muscle cars ever to hit the street. I’m sure whatever Dodge puts out will be cool. I’ve heard rumors of a twin turbo inline 6, which could be insane paired up with a hybrid system in a lighter weight car. Also rumors of everything new being all electric. Who knows at this point.
  6. Thank you. I had it up for sale for a while but decided not to let her go once I had a legit offer put up lol. Glad I didn’t sell all of the goodies I have. If you want a new one, now is the time. 22 or 23 will be it for the 6.2.
  7. Yeah but for a few grand you can tune the TRX to stomp everything else again. I have most of the parts to do it sitting in a box in the garage waiting for the warranty on the Challenger to run out lol. I will not be touching the engine of whatever truck I buy. I might throw some wheels and tires on it, but that’s about it. I saw a video of a new Tudra with the TRD Sport package, with a leveling kit and 35s on it. It looked beautiful.
  8. Nice. Yeah I’ve been talking to one of the dealers and have gotten the same answer. I’m going to hold out as long as the Chevy can. The towing capacities of the Tudras aren’t much better than any other half ton at this point, so it’s the mileage of the hybrid that I’m really waiting for.
  9. A white TRD Pro would look real nice in the driveway next to the Cat. The interiors are even similar.
  10. It’s not super high on mine either, but fast is fun to me lol. If I really wanted fast, I’d buy a Ram TRX and call it a day. I’m looking for a good all around vehicle.
  11. I’d love to go. If you and David want company next year, let me know.
  12. Hahaha yep. I loved my old Ram, didn’t have many issues with it, and it had around 200k on the dial when I sold it. Ram and drove perfect, just had some typical NY cancer on her. Honestly, I should have offloaded the Chevy and kept the Ram.
  13. For sure. Hopefully my current truck holds up until then or I’ll end up buying a Ram instead. I’m supposed to be taking my boat down to Pickwick or Chickamauga in the early spring for a week, and that may be too much to ask from the old girl.
  14. That would have been a nice way to do it.
  15. Yep, the torque number is why some are saying it may be quicker, but there are a lot more variables to it than just that. I spoke to someone at one of our local Toyota dealers yesterday, and he said not to expect to see them until late spring/early summer.
  16. Let’s keep it clean guys. Thanks.
  17. I’ve heard some talk that it may be quicker than a Raptor, but no one has been allowed to publicly test it yet. Toyota is staying tight lipped about performance data.
  18. Well, unlike most years, last season and this season, I have not had much opportunity to get out and hunt. I consider myself a pretty decent hunter, and it hasn’t been a lack of skill, know how or anything like that, just a lack of time. 100% my issue. Like I said before, I’ll go out a time or two, as I have some time off for the holidays, but I’d really rather be predator hunting at this time, and I don’t like to do it during open deer seasons, as I feel I’m putting unnecessary pressure on the areas I hunt.
  19. I remember many years as a kid watching what was essentially a parade of trucks headed south the night before opening day and early opening morning. I also remember being part of that parade my first few years of hunting. We would get to state land like Rattlesnake Hill, HiTor, Keeney Swamp, etc and there would be hunters all over the place. For years we would take campers and generators to Coyle Hill and camp there for a week, and there were tons of folks doing the same. You just don’t have that stuff anymore.
  20. Interesting. I have never done anything special with mine, though 90% of the time I’ve used black flash cams on bait piles. I’ve had them on trees down low, up high and on Tposts near the piles.
  21. I don’t like that it’s pushing my ability to night hunt with rifles in some of my spots until after New Years. im planning to get out in the woods for the holiday hunt a time or two though. It would be great if I could actually put a deer on the ground for the first time in a couple of seasons.
