    I found some about a month ago but they wouldn’t ship to NY. It was $46 a box too. I havent even been able to find any decent hunting rounds for the 308. All I ever see are FMJ and some soft point target rounds. I originally went with a 308 rather than a 260 because it was easy to find ammo for. Whodathunkit

    I have my 300 to use for now, it’s just a pain to carry with a 26” barrel lol. I havent been able to find Fusions for the 308 almost 2 years. It sucks too, as I finally finished the build and haven’t been able to hunt with it.

    I’ve been thinking the same thing. I’ve been watching NY Antler Outdoors on Facebook as well and that also seems to be very low for posts at this point, so I dont think it’s just on this forum.

    It’s a process. You get warnings, then a temporary ban, and if that doesn’t do it, then you’re gone for good. Unless it’s a very blatant action, then you might get banned right off the bat.

    Bingo. Chef will be allowed back if he chooses. The thread is gone for good though, which is a bummer, I’ve posted in it and it’s been a good source of crap to send my friends outside of here.

    It has nothing to do with being offended or anyones political party. There are forum rules, and if you can’t follow them, then you suffer the consequences.

    There were more times than that. Believe me, I like Chef as a person and have even stuck my neck out for him in the past. He should have gotten the point before this. I do not enjoy banning people, especially long time members, but people can’t just keep breaking the rules, which we are very lenient with in the first place.

    I have removed the Todays Chuckle thread for now so that We can go through it and make a determination if it will be kept. There have been some recent posts that took things way too far. The individual that posted these things has been warned multiple times in the past by both Eddie and I, and he is now gone. Please keep things fairly clean and family friendly. We are pretty lenient most of the time, but if you are warned multiple times and keep breaking the rules, you’ll find yourself out of here.

    Well I got everything ready yesterday, and today two things popped up that I have to deal with this weekend, so hunting went out the window. It never fails the last couple of years. Good luck out there everyone!

    I got mine out and cleaned it up. I’ll be triple checking that it’s dialed in this evening. I’m chomping at the bit to get in the woods, as I have had some shoulder issues this year and haven’t been able to draw my bow comfortably. Have to get my hunting clothes washed and gear put together the next couple of evenings. I cant wait!

    Speaking of fishing. Here’s a little highlight video I put Together for our club from this season. for anyone that knows me, you’ll see my son Evan in there holding his tournament winning 4 1/2lb largemouth from our Honeoye lake tournament. Turns out the kid is a stick!

    Hahahaha. I havent even bought my license yet. I’m having shoulder problems this year that stopped me from shooting my bow, which took the wind out of my sails. Between work, looking for a better gig, Evans hockey and hunting 5+lb smallies, I havent done anything on the hunting front yet. Doesn’t help that I didnt find a lease this summer because I spent my time fishing. …maybe that boat is ruining me. Hahaha
