Some of the Apps I use the most for hunting are Google Earth, any of the good weather apps, I usually use The Weather Channel's app, and Scoutlook. I bought the Deer and Deer Hunting shot simulator for my old android phone, but havent for my iphone yet. For non hunting related apps, I have Pandora, photobucket, skype and a flashlight. I have a couple of games on there too and a local news app.

Not everyone is out to fill the same goals. I agree he would be tough to pass, but if a mature buck is what your after, that buck doesnt fit the bill. If you are happy to shoot a 2 1/2 year old, go for it. I dont think anyone is saying the OP shouldnt shoot that buck if he wants to.

I use it and love it. Make sure to use the right primers, as has been mentioned.

The white ring around the nose is just the buck's markings, has nothing to do with age. Look at how long his legs appear to be, kinda spindly looking. Then the jacked up looking rear. Classic 2 1/2 year old. If he makes it another year he will be a great buck, another 2 or 3 years and he looks to have the potential to be a hell of a buck.

20 30 40 50 60 for me. 50/60 are for target shooting ath this time. Maybe if I practiced those shots alot and had the perfect conditions to make a shot at those distances, I would consider it. This year though, I didnt practice as much as I would have liked and am limiting myself to 40 yards or less.

It breaks up your outline mostly, same as any other piece of camouflage.

LMAO sorry, Im busy these days. I totally forgot. I swear Ill try and get it posted tonight. -
No, the quality of the stands is not the same. Ive had cheap stands in the past, and some of the stands we use on the farms I hunt are cheapos. There is a very noticeable difference between the good ones and the cheap ones. Leave one of the cheap hang ons in the woods for more than just the season, and by the next season, you have a stand that creaks and groans every time you shift your weight. Not so with the higher end ones. The fit and finish of the cheapo stands is generally not as good, and the features are just not there.

Python locks are what I use. They work perfectly. Most of the time I use it to hang the cam as well as secure it.

Holy crap, I didnt realize they went bye bye. I just bought a new seat pad from them a couple of months ago.

Congrats on a fine buck! -
I have a couple of the Muddy Outfitters that are great. Very comfortable as long as you arent looking for the back rest and arms. Big, comfy seat, good size platform without being so big its tough to get in to tight spots.

Any updates on this?

He was at 8 yards. Today I had the kids so I decided to get the yard and outside of the house buttoned up for winter. I also got the generator and snow blower out and got them ready as well. I did some back yard shooting with my daughter. I have to say, the kid is a natural. She shot 15 rounds of 3 arrows. Out of all shots, only 2 were outside of the vitals on the target. Shes just shooting 10 yards for now. We are gonna work on 20 the next time. -
Its gotta be real, there are TV shows about bigfoot hunters. If it wasnt real, then how could there be shows about it?

I see the 125 Montecs all the time. That is what I shoot. Easy to resharpen so you dont have to worry about replacing them very ofthen.

Loworange, baby wipes work very well for the removal of the face paint. Its not hard to remove at all.
