    Ohio and PA have completely different approaches, so dont group them together. Also, there is not a single state in the mid west with statewide ARs. The only ones in the Midwest with any points based restrictions are Missouri, Minnesota, Michigan and Illinois. Kentucky has a spread restriction. Heres a list of AR states

    1/2 hour to hour before daylight generally. During gun season though, I dont start walking in until I can see with the exception of the first 2 days.

    You already have to have a small game license. If they want them eradicated as badly as they have stated, and they keep their invasive species designation, they wont create tags for them.

    No, the possession part refers to live hogs, not dead ones. Its in the wording of the law that I posted. "3. BEGINNING SEPTEMBER FIRST, TWO THOUSAND FIFTEEN, NO PERSON, FIRM, PARTNERSHIP, CORPORATION OR GOVERNMENT ENTITY SHALL KNOWINGLY POSSESS, SELL, OFFER FOR SALE, DISTRIBUTE, TRANSPORT, OR OTHERWISE MARKET OR TRADE LIVE EURASIAN BOARS."

    I already read that on the DEC site. The DEC seems to be blaming the law for the possibility of no more shooting them in the wild. The actual law that I posted contradicts that. Im asking for someone to show me where in the actual law where it says what the DEC is saying. Unless of course, as has been said, the DEC is thinking of outlawing it. Now, I know what their stance has been on feral pigs in the past, so I dont see that as a likely change they would make.

    I can remember reading about yote sightings in NYC for at least the last 5 years. I dont see it as very surprising that they made it to LI. They can cross bridges, etc. No need to swim.

    If you read the bill that was signed in, there is nothing suggesting the outlawing of killing the hogs in the wild. At least nothing I see. Can someone explain what part of it suggests this?     Only 7000 hunters? I just dont understand why they dont have a survey that you answer when you buy your license. I realize that the statistics calculations get pretty close to actual numbers, but for crying out loud, just get the actual numbers!

    Im not bashing anything belo, the facts are the facts, its all form. I dont claim to be an expert, but I used to have the same issues and was guided to the solution by people with way more experience than I have. When I have done my part correctly (form, chose proper pin for distance), I am 100% on hits as well. Every miss I have ever had can be attributed to either bad form or misjudging the distance. If you choose to argue that the sky isnt blue, thats your choice.
