  1. Happy for you. You have to have a day like that once in awhile. I saw 3 kinds of small bird ( chickadee, junco, sparrow) and that was it. Not even a squirrel. How many did you see in all? Congrats to all those who killed today. (Way to go Paul!)I thought they would really move based on time of year and weather. Good luck Zeek. Track 'm up.
  2. Not the greatest pic Moog. Maybe next time you should paint a magical portrait instead!
  3. But Kershaw can hit and is good at it. He wouldn't do well in the AL east. Buehler is under control for years, but he's actually worth something. Kershaw is just one step above CC Sabathia, if that.
  4. Kershaw is injured more often than not. I hope they do sign him. They will overpay for a pitcher on the downhill slide. Buehler is way more impressive then Clayton Kershaw at this point. Besides, he would have to pitch to the DH and that makes all the difference, right?
  5. Nothing wrong, but he doesn't make his scheduled start in the World Series? The Sox rolled at Fenway. Most of the balls last night weren't pulled, they were to centerfield. I totally disagree. If Sale were healthy you couldn't keep him from pitching. Period.
  6. Sale with one win and the top of the order hitters doing squat. They are a young team for the most part. Resign Evoldi, hopefully get Stephen Wright back, shore up the 'pen, get some insurance for 2nd and 3B. Presto!
  7. I think the NL park thing is overblown. I think they are just covering up for an injured and somewhat ineffective Sale. I feel bad for him. He was supposed to the ace and lead the way. I agree that he will pitch in relief if the Sox get a lead. It would be great if Price was lights out, but not how I would draw it up if I had a choice. Sale must be broken if he isn't taking the hill. He was going ballistic in the dugout. His teammates wouldn't even look at him. Hope his shoulder woes aren't a long time issue. I love the way he goes about pitching in Boston.
  8. I'm not sure I understand the reasoning for starting Price. Is Sale not healthy? Price is better at home than on the road. I hope he pitches well, but I can't say it makes sense to me. Steve Pearce might be my pick for series MVP. Just one more win!
  9. You have to have some kind of a box & triple wall pipe to go through the wall/roof. You can get a kit at Home Depot for a couple hundred bucks. You don't want the heat from the stove pipe up against anything combustible.
  10. Not to stray too far, but how do the dogs do in wet/rainy conditions? I don't have any experience with real tracking dogs.
  11. Tags, broadheads, a replacement hub blind. Not too bad.
  12. That's messed up right there. Don't shake the baby. Definitely don't grind up the baby!
  13. If it's thick then maybe it will protect the blood from the rain? Glad you're backing out. I try to only bring one guy on a blood trail, more on an area search. Just my preference. Looking forward to the pictures.
  14. My thoughts exactly! Until the arthritis and bursitis in my left shoulder ruined my shooting form. What to do now? Make a deal with the devil?
  15. Chevy is better than Ford? Rage broadheads are overpriced hype? Crossbows will be the end of bow season as we know it? Antler restrictions are ineffective/Communist? Food plots are no better than bags of corn? Take your pick.
  16. Give him 4 hours? Looks like the worst of the rain is this morning. Better after that. It's hard to wait though.
  17. 4 does in the hayfield in front of my house at 7:00 when I let the dogs out. They are the first deer I have seen here in over 2 weeks. Watched them until they left the field. I came home Friday night to watch the game and because of the forecast. Now I'm wishing I had stayed at the farm and hunted...
  18. How did the shot look? If you don't bump him it should be a short track anyhow. Good luck Paul. You deserve a win!
  19. Good Lord Kimbrell has been bad this post season.
  20. Hill was fantastic. The bullpen was not. Nobody has been able to troll the Red Sox without paying for it. 3 more outs and Biz can sleep tight!
  21. You would think they could sit on the Rich Hill's fastball, but it aint that easy.
  22. WAAAAAAA I want my cellphone! I'm not in the telecommunications business. Couldn't tell you, and I just don't care. Good luck out there. Be safe out in the scary woods.
  23. I imagine it's not a conspiracy to keep people out. I imagine it's just not cost effective. I understand that you don't like it, but complaining won't change it. If you don't feel safe, then don't go. The number of people that get out on the 6 million acres is miniscule
