1st off, why such a heavy broadhead? An arrow of equal all up weight W/a lighter broadhead will penetrate just as well & will be much better balanced. A balance point as close as possible to, but not behind, the midpoint of the arrow is ideal. As far as a heavier bow? A 42# traditional bow will penetrate well as long as the angle & placement are ideal. A little more draw weight will allow a bit more arrow mass & help on a shot that is angled from the rear which may have to cut through several ribs to enter the chest. It will also give you a increased likelihood of a pass through for better blood trails. Something in the 47-50# range should be an easy step up. I have found that an extremely light draw weight bow can sometimes magnify any discrepancies in the release. You are shooting "fingers" right? When I shot my wife's 43# Great Plains Palo Duro recurve, I had to be careful of torquing the string on the draw/release. I didn't have such issues W/my 63# J. D. Berry Yehweh long bow. Back to your arrows. I learned the advantage of lighter broadheads when I started shooting glue on Bear Razorheads W/swaged aluminum shafts. Eliminating the weight of the insert on the tip improved the balance & made the arrow leave the bow better. W/a 50# draw weight you will get the best all around performance W/an all up arrow weight of at least 450-500grs. A glue on 125gr broadhead with a shaft/fletch/nock that weighs an additional 325-375gr should work out well. With an arrow, weight will always give you more penetration as long as the speed is sufficient to cast the arrow in a reasonably flat trajectory. The rule of thumb for traditional arrow weight is 9-11grs per # of draw weight.

If I get her drunk on the way home from the airport, maybe I can convince her she's seeing double?

Why does the Navy have Marines on board ships? Because sheep are too conspicuous!

She has a certain "slutty quality" that I like in a woman.

Well the wife left for Florida so I decided to go get my 2014 buck from the local taxidermist & hang him on the living room wall. Maybe she wont notice when she gets home? Any way, when I shot the buck he was strutting around a bend on one of my horse trails. He was about midway between 2 scrapes he had been working pretty hard. There was about 100yds between the scrapes so he seemed to be pretty worked up from his body language & the way his neck hair was bristled. I wanted the mount to reflect his aggressive state so I had the mount done with an open mouth, kind of a panting pose. When I spotted him he had caught a glimpse of my movement but he hadn't nailed me down. Had did have his ears erect, probably trying to hear what he couldn't quite pin down visually.. Not sure if the attitude came through, but it definitely doesn't seem to project the same demeanor as my 2009 buck that is right next to him (left) on the wall. It's hard to see the way his neck hair is bristled in the pictures but it comes through pretty good in person. The mouth didn't come out quite the way I had envisioned, but I think it still conveys a dominant, aggressive mood. Both bucks were aged @ 3 1/2 years old but while the racks are close in overall score, there was quite a difference in body size. The 2009 buck was shot on November 15th & dressed 142# while the 2014 buck shot on November 29th dressed 190#. You can see the difference in size of their neck/shoulders in the picture below. If I had shot the bigger buck in early November I think he would have went over 200# by a pretty good margin.

Would have made some awesome gunstocks if it hadn't been cut too short.

It would still be far better $$$ spent that handing out more tax cuts to people that will hide their income in tax havens or invest in 3rd world industry thus eliminating even more American jobs. And what would happen to that added $$$ in the hands of the working middle class? Would your business profit from increased residential construction & remodeling when those workers spend their now disposable income?. Would the auto industry see an increases in sates? Would restaurants see more business? Would retailers benefit from increased sales? Where did we ever get the idea that suppressing income for working middle class would benefit the economy?

You are describing perfectly the voodoo economics of the Reagan & "W" Bush tax cuts. The projected increased tax revenue never happened in either case. By spending on much needed infrastructure repairs/upgrades you increase wages for a large number of middle class workers. THAT WILL increase tax revenues as well as payments into Social Security. When the DEBT has been increased due to tax cuts for the wealthy & profitable corporations are added to 2 wars put on the credit card as well as corporate subsidies for those same profitable corporations, the situation calls for an increased investment into the economy just like capital investment in a corporation to get thing started.

Herbicides & farming practices are the real culprits. I bought a BO Jones cap as a Christmas present for my 27 year old son. I were one deer hunting when the weather gets cold, wet or both.

Bernie is no more socialist than Eisenhower & he presided over some of the most vibrant economic growth of the middle class. It was also a period of rapid scientific/industrial development and our public education system was the envy of the world. The Koch family called him a communist too, but his tax policies encouraged reinvestment in factories & technology as well as paying a good wage.. Industrial pioneer Henry Ford recognized the folly of repressing wages & the detrimental effects on economic growth associated with those policies. Even today, those that are not consumed by greed realize that it isn't the rich, but the lower income wage earners that are the true job creators.
