NY's Future Under A Fracking Ban
wildcat junkie replied to Mr VJP's topic in Gun and Hunting Laws and Politics Discussions
And with that statement you lost what little credibility he had left. Even you know that is the most ludicrous, bald faced lie ever perpetuated on the American populous. If you don't, you're so delusional that the men in white suits should soon be putting you in a straight jacket. I'm beginning to see why conserve-a-turds worship Reagan so. If the old BS Artist in chief hadn't shut down the state run mental institutions, these lunatics would locked away where they wouldn't be able to spew their inane BS. -

By "stringent oversight", are you referring to the government regulations that you so vehemently oppose? -

I was born & lived the first 8 years of my life in the "oil country" of N/W Pennsylvania. When the casings from oil wells drilled on the early 1900s started to rust out, methane gas would infiltrate the aquifer. That was happening by the mid '60s. Then, there was acid run-off from coal mines turning rural trout streams into lifeless drainage ditches W/red stained bottoms. By the mid '70s things were starting to improve due to EPA efforts. This "clean up" was mostly paid for by tax payers since the offending corporations were long gone. Do we really have to go through all this again? -

Again, another perspective that perfectly describes the climate change denial propaganda. 97% of scientists agree yet the 3% on big carbon's payroll refute the facts. -

The Tea-Turds in congress are working hard to assure that. Wasn't the 1st one brought about due to Republican economics policies too? -
Barely 300,000? You got to be kidding me. Illinois had a total harvest of just under 145,000 last year.

Landlocked Property Access?

All this for 7.84 acres? -
Landlocked Property Access?
wildcat junkie replied to BizCT's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
We are talking about a small parcel of landlocked land here. It probably doesn't have an abstract & getting a title search & abstract done can get expensive.Being that it was sold for taxes, it would be highly unlikely that it has an abstract. -

Well smarty a lawyer will usually give you an answer to a simple question such as legality of the sale W/O charge. -
Landlocked Property Access?
wildcat junkie replied to BizCT's topic in Land Management, Food Plots and QDM
Landlocked property does not necessarily have access or easement. There is 20 acres adjoining my property. It could only be (legally) sold to somebody that owns adjoining property. Been there, done that. I both purchased & later sold the property to another neighbor that owned adjoining property. That doesn't prevent an unscrupulous seller from selling landlocked property. It can leave you holding the bag if you go to sell it & the potential buyer does his homework. Even though it is illegal, it will be a "civil matter" & you know what that means. $$$$$ for the lawyers should you are the one that gets caught "holding the bag"! Do the research & consult an attorney before you buy landlocked property if it is surrounded by private property. Furthermore, a certain amount of road frontage is often required for a building permit. In my tiwnship, it is 100'. Public land is another story. You have the right to cross public land to access landlocked property. I don't think you can get a building permit though. -
Landlocked Property Access?

I have a power line across my property & it is an easement only. The power company does NOT own the land & I can do whatever I want under the lines, as long as I do not impede access for the Power company. I have built a small structure under those lines, a 25' X 100' flight pen. That still allows adequate access for maintenance according to them & the power company has done fence row trimming next to the pen on one occasion. One year, the yahoos they contracted to to do ROW maintenance drove over my hayfield in areas not under the ROW. I made a phone call & the contractors now are required to notify me when they need access for routine maintenance. I also have had issues W/A-holes on snowmobiles thinking they can run across my land on the power line. My neighbors and I have had the State Police handle the issue. It is trespassing. -
VIDEO: The World's Most Lethal Broadheads

I've never had a deer go more than 20 yds when hit with a properly sharpened and placed Bear Razorhead from a 55# recurve bow. -
Once you catch on to proper set-up, they are amazingly comfortable aren't they.

I don't see where the Hammock Seat is unstable. The tree trunk & your legs make a 3-point stance which is the most stable. Yes, it is possible to shift from side to side, but if you keep your feet planted & push your back into the tree, it is very stable.

On Teusday I received the Dead Ringer copy of the Fanatic Outdoors Hammock Seat. Other than a different camo pattern, an orange/gray logo on the bag (Fanatic Outdoors is red/white) and an orange tape on the carabiner instead of yellow, the seats are identical as far as I can tell. The DR Hammock Seat comes in a triangular box that has set-up illustrations, the FO seat just comes in a shipping box, no instructions whatsoever. All in all, the DR seat is slightly more user friendly given the instructions nicely illustrated on the box. The price on the DR Hammock Seat on Amazon has fluctuated slightly from $31 to just over $35. Right now it is $34.47 which is just under the $35 free shipping minimum so it is cost effective to add something to the order to reach $35 for free shipping. I purchased a Primos Double Gobble call for an additional $12.49 to get the free shipping. The price of the call was less than Walmart's price & I saved the sales tax to boot. http://www.amazon.com/Dead-Ringer-DR4460-Hammock-Chair/dp/B008RSVIIK I purchased an inexpensive (metal) cam buckle 1" x 12' nylon tie down to replace the cheap plastic buckle strap. The OE strap was too short to go 2 wraps around a tree larger than about 12". I did not trust the plastic clip buckle on a single wrap. The 12' cam buckle stap will go around a tree that is up to 42" in diameter. The FO Hammock Seat is $58 once shipping is added. Since the DR Hammkck Seat is identical in form & function, it is a much better deal at $35.
