  1. My car gets 25 MPG too & it's a lot more fun to drive than a pick up. Not quick enough for ya? Just spray a little nitrous.
  2. Semi-auto are sometimes frowned upon for trap. If you ever had to stand on the station to the right of a semi-auto you would understand why.
  3. Are you going to give up the improved wages, benefits & representation that go along with belonging to the organization you don't believe in?
  4. That's him. Have you seen the "white bread" portrait he had painted. http://www.nola.com/politics/index.ssf/2015/02/bobby_jindal_portrait.html
  5. If you take the standard of living for the general populous, we aren't the "greatest country on earth" any more.
  6. Care to cite a few chapters or are you just ranting about your usual delusions?
  7. Like the ones that Red state conservatives are trying to foist off as fact?
  8. Here we go. Get out your tinfoil hats.
  9. A woman went into a tatoo parlor to have the faces of Robert Redford & Paul Newman inked onto each side of her inner thighs. When the artist was done, he handed her a mirror to have a look at his handiwork. When she saw the images in the mirror, she was aghast. "I'm not paying you, that doesn't look anything like Paul Newman or Robert Redford!" She exclaimed. "That's because you are seeing the image backwards in the mirror". He answered. "Tell you what, go out into the street & if the 1st person you come to doesn't recognize who they are, you don't owe me a thing." She stormed out into the street where she found a wino laying in the gutter. She stood with her legs straddled over his face. "Who does that look like to you?" She demanded. The wino peered up between her gaping thighs, squinted his eyes & rubbed the stubble on his chin for a moment. "Well, I don't know who those fellas are on either side, but damned if that ain't a perfect likness of Willie Nelson in the middle!"
  10. Still doesn't hold a candle to the "Caucasian" portrait of Bobby Jindal in the Loosiana Guvna's mansion or plantation or whatever it is they have down there.
  11. What about the freedom to participate in collective bargaining?
  12. I bookmarked the site to favorites. If I can get the performance that others are reporting W/the 3" 20ga 1 1/2oz HW #7 s that others are reporting, I see no need to lug around a heavy, hard kicking 12ga. The little Ithaca M37 UL only weighs about 5# 10oz empty, probably right @ 6# loaded. The 1 5/16oz @ 1185fps loads don't kick bad either. I wouldn't think 1 1/2oz @ 1100fps would be much different. I had a Mossberg 835 Ulti-mag & it was downright brutal W/2oz loads.
  13. Yea, they seem to be the best size given their energy retention & pattern density.
  14. You're right, but the logic may be to start at the beginning. That would be thousands of years prior.
  15. When you select the shot size, it says: "Item Currently. Not Available For Sale"!
  16. When I was in school, "world history" & "U S history were taught in 2 different classes. " World history" encompasses thousands of years while "U S history" is barely 400 years.I went to school in PA as well as IL.
  17. I'm trying to find some Federal HW #7s, but nobody on the Internet has them. All I can find are #6 & in a 20ga, I don't want to reduce the pellet count. All kinds if 12ga HW #7s. :-( 1 1/2oz of HW #7s will have a similar pellet count as the lead #6s.
  18. I have many reasons like those already cited. One of the major factors is the feeling of independence and self reliance. I grow a vegetable garden for the same reason. I think hunting connects us to our hunter, gatherer roots.
  19. And some Republicans in Texas are trying to pass a law to make it illegal to video the police.
  20. That explains the dismal failure of the broccolli. So far, the tomatos are doing great. I now have 53 of 59 pellets sprouting. California Wonder, Big Bertha. Karma (red) and Nakita (orange) peppers are starting to sprout. Jalapeños aren't doing anything yet. I'll have to replant the broccolli tomorrow & set them on the porch.
  21. I saw one floating in a bowl that was in the kitchen sink!
