so im a new hunter this is my second season, so far i've been out 16 times 5 where all day sits last year i was out 35 times in total for all 3 seasons and didnt see anything except one spike this year i saw one nice one about 600 yards away and he has disappeared so im reaching out for help since im doing something wrong at this point, i need help can somebody meet me at some point on state land in hurley ny and try to get me on a deer we'll get there around noon for a night hunt so somebody can show me how to scout properly on the fly and then we'll sit and see if we can get one on the ground im 19 and have yet to shoot anything except squirrels i havnt even gotten a chance to yet and the lack of sightings is really making sitting in stand for hours start to be hard

has anyone used them? i called them tonight about getting a chipmunk mounted cuz i shot one last night with the longbow and i want to have one mounted it wont be my original but just to have and he said "a chipmunk they're hibernating" i said i shot one lastnight with the bow and he said "its to early in the morning for chipmunks call me back tomarrow" and he hung up on me so im gonna call him back tomarrow just incase he thought i was prank calling him that and if he suddently see's that im serious about it it'd be a great story to go along with the mount

well in 3 hours il be on the side of a cornfield waiting for sunlight to come up so i can see what kind of deer come into my field as i didn't buy any kind of cameras so heres to sitting on a log for a few hours while my dads at work im gonna bring my rifle no ammo no bolt just to see if i can hold the rifle from sitting well enough to squeeze a shot off i must stress im not going to have any ammo or even the guns bolt with me so i couldn't be told im hunting no matter what happens its going to be completely unloaded im not even going to have the mag on my persons so im in compliance with all laws
