    I will be with my son in my big blind overlooking my field. Have seen several nice bucks this year so hopefully we get one opening day. This has been a great opening day stand we have taken multiple bucks out of it. If all goes well he will be a happy hunter on Saturday.

    Overlooking food plot other end of farm blew a bunch out of the field on walk in. Wind is right for this spot which it was colder but seems ok. Good hunting to all out there

    After I posted I thought hmmm hope they don’t interpret that to be chase a buck. But you’re intuitive and nailed it. You hunt your normal buck haunts and this time of year a buck will push a doe past just shoot her first as they typically come quick in front of the buck. Just reverse buck hunting. Oh Btw if you run into fawn(s) in the woods w/out moma use a fawn bleat can call and sometimes doe will come to check on fawns. Otherwise Foodsources.

    Just hunt the bucks like you normally would during the rut they will for sure bring you to a doe.

    I am hopeful for that but it’s only happened 2 times for me. Second Saturday has always been a good day and opening day afternoon. But would love to see Hank in a couple Saturdays. Early in the morning is good by me ha

    Thanks Crappy but I passed him already at 20 yds feeding head down shot on 11/1. He’s a good buck but would love to see him next year. I have sights set on Hank the Tank but this one is tempting. I just love seeing it all and videoing it.

    It’s amazing to watch these other lesser bux won’t give up. This one is now piling on. It’s been good like this since just before Halloween. Like Grampy says probably another 5 or 6 days of this. Best days to be on stand all year.

    5 bux 1 hot doe and a nice 8 fighting off the other 4 bux who keep pressuring them. Something to see grunting fighting tearing it up. Just need her to bring him by a bit closer
