If lead bullets were banned, what is the alternative material?

For centerfire cartridges its copper which is already avaliable for some calibres, traditional BP rifles & ML nothing, modern ML copper with sabots.

I suppose some sort of heavy metal core for weight.

Which is liable to violate the armour piercing ammo ban as well.
