mtbuck Posted August 30, 2012 Share Posted August 30, 2012 I just inherited a .44 lever action winchester, my question is what grain bullet should i use for hunting. i also have extra rounds of .22-250 and .30 cal carbine if someone would like to have them just let me know and i'll gladly send them to you. Yotehntr Posted August 30, 2012 Share Posted August 30, 2012 Hornady 225gr Leverevolution. Took my deerfield carbine from a 50yrd gun shooting federal 240gr HP to a 100yrd gun.
