Firing...I started .....several years ago..... making the brush pile fences...and blinds...to give critters and song birds places to hide and live as well as for my own uses....Holy Cow....or RABBIT!!! as it is...I mowed today and there were baby bunnies and squirrel ...chipmunk running every where...which explains a sound we love hearing...but have been hearing a LOT lately...hawks screeching...and the owls at night...I need to get the guns ready for more than turkey and deer...

One of the most fun things my buddy and I do is hunt rabbits with our recurves.... we take turns being the dog, stomping brush piles and flushing rabbits for the other guy. We use blunt tipped arrows that kill them deader than dead when you hit them.. that is .. IF you hit them.

Your right fun to hunt and good eats...but Man!...At first glance...... I thought an invasion of rats hit us...There was a huge...sewer type rat killed down the road in front of a very bad trailer...

I had turned them in three 3yrs ago because kids lived there and you had just a foot path on covered porch..... besides I tired of every one else on the hill whining about it....I told authorities and all they said was they are welfare...Soo??? I don't want rats!!...I then called the county offices and said if there is a fire in that TRAILER...and those girls die I'll hit the news so fast...we'll look into it....2 days later...3 dumpster full of garbage...took one year to re fill and they moved...guy that bought at auction dismantled it and cleared the land...but now the rats have moved across the area

The guy really has put in a ton of work and has a nice place...you can see pride in where he lives

Any how...a bunch of babie rabbits scattering in all directions...well you get the picture...I'll take rabbits over rats every time ...lol.....I've given them plenty to eat in the plots...and have had my eye on mom/dad all summer...we use to raise meat rabbits...this is cheaper and more fun

We spent 3 weeks in Cyprus during August and had cooked Rabbit once . It was delicious as it was slow cooked with potatoes , carrots , etc .. It was the 1st time I had rabbit since I was a kid and that was a long time ago !
